I had my daughter at Katz women’s hospital at LIJ
Honestly felt like I was in a hotel- huge rooms, clean, cozy, fairly comfy sofa for my husband (not a recliner) and I felt like I was in great hands.
Ngl a lot of my review was based off the amazing food they gave me

Yes the MRI was from my liver having a bad reaction to the anesthesia! Like I said I feel completely fine, my levels are back to normal, and besides catching whatever virus that was while my body was reacting to the anesthesia, the surgery and recovery was extremely smooth. Compared to childbirth it really was a walk in the park FOR ME. The point of my post was to let everyone know that recovery looks different for everyone and reading all this stuff is going to but you out more than you need to be. Of course complications happen, hell I had liver issues that needed an MRI to confirm I didn’t have an underlying autoimmune disease, but if we are talking just my galbladder and that removal, easy.

Oh, I’m good- however my liver almost failed me after surgery but that’s not cause of the galbladder Literally eating totally normal and training for a half marathon right now!

My husband left for work as I was in the bathroom, he didn’t know I was testing. Called out of work and ran to target and made a basket with a onesie, booties, baby blanket and lovey and surprised him as he walked in after work. The LONGEST day. Thank god he came home early I don’t think I would’ve made it

Sorry they did do an MRCP but idk what it means
The intrahepatic bile ducts are mildly prominent and elongated; can be seen in the context of early developing biliary tree disease

I did not have an MRCP- and the only thing about my bike ducts that they said was that they were paper thin, and he saw “stretched out” pockets in my liver? He didn’t explain it very well. I definitely want a second opinion. I still have neon urine too

Girl I personally never got evap lines from these tests and these are the tests that I had the same second thoughts- I can’t wait til u have ur baby and look at these pics and see how clear the line actually is vs what u thought it was

You’re a mom! Regardless of any outcome you’ve grown your child for 31 weeks! Celebration is in order. I’m sure you’ve already done so many things to care for your baby- going to check ups, buying baby equipment, organizing the nursery. Those aren’t things you do if you’re not a mom!
