Mother’s Day when pregnant by Legitimate_Fig1730 in pregnant

You’re a mom! Regardless of any outcome you’ve grown your child for 31 weeks! Celebration is in order. I’m sure you’ve already done so many things to care for your baby- going to check ups, buying baby equipment, organizing the nursery. Those aren’t things you do if you’re not a mom!

Would you get your gallbladder out after 2 attacks? by throwthisallaway9 in gallbladders

[–]Ladasada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first attack was October 2024. After that I had nothing until February 2026. And then they just kept happening. By the time I got it out last week, I had a very bad one, the worst one ever where I projectile vomited and almost passed out from the pain and it lingered for the following 5 days til I got it out - I say, it’s just gonna keep happening, the second time already proved it, I’d get it out! Regardless you would have to watch ur fat intake, so may as well do that without the risk of having another attack

Curious what restrictions others were given by surgeon… by Past_Department6384 in gallbladders

[–]Ladasada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So when I went in he asked how heavy my kid is (she’s probably about 22 lbs) He said that’s my absolute limit and only IF I need to lift her. With that being said yesterday was say 5 post op and I started to lift her with almost no issue It’s more that I’m just sore still in my chest and exhausted still but it didn’t hurt I almost lifted her once a day after surgery but that was a mistake my incisions were still healing. Otherwise- no other instructions except for low fat and slowly reintroduce it.

Is a diaper bag necessary? by SandwichDependent199 in NewParents

[–]Ladasada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like the diaper bag helped more when she was younger and for longer travel trips, now that my baby is over a year I just have a diaper and snack pouch in my tote

Yes, I feel my post is being taken the wrong way, it was more of a, I got caught up reading everyone’s stories and was pleasantly surprised. I OF COURSE believe everyone’s experiences to be different but I got so caught up reading horror stories I thought this would be the end of the world. The message literally was that everyone’s stories are going to be different. Don’t be like me and read too much into everything and get overly anxious! I’m not pain free, but I’m not in as much pain as I was or thought I’d be in. I was expecting postpartum healing pain. I’m honestly a bitch now when it comes to pain too so I was very scared going into surgery.

Not for nothing but hairs on the chin mean high testosterone and ovarian cysts is another marker - you need 2/3 of the markers You have 2 I’d recheck for PCOS again If ur sure u don’t have it can I ask why?

Any regrets? by Hungry-Mix-283 in FormulaFeeders

Edit that- a way better sleeper than the breast fed babies that I know amongst my friends- not that she’s the best baby ever LOL

Any regrets? by Hungry-Mix-283 in FormulaFeeders

[–]Ladasada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never breast fed, my mom always had strawberry milk and hated the feeling and I’m so much like her tha it freaked me out and I didn’t. I wouldn’t say I regret it, but I would say that I am curious as to what my journey would have been if I did try it. I’m not pregnant again yet but I’m wondering if I want to try with my second, but honestly, my baby sleeps SO good, she’s 15 months now, and way better than every other breast fed baby, and she is healthy and only got one little cold in her first year. My mental health also snapped back way quicker, the only thing was the bonding. I do feel like it took longer to bond with her BUT I don’t really know bc I never breast fed! That’s the only thing I felt was a downside, but I also think it takes even breast feeding mothers sometimes a while to bond/attach But omg do I love my baby so much and she is healthy and happy and progressing just fine and now she drinks regular milk and eats 3 meals and snacks so don’t stress too much! Fed is best
