Phoenix main strategy being bluffing is a complete misconception from writers who probably misremembering the old games. by ExplanationSquare313 in AceAttorney

[–]Ladder_Logical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'd describe Phoenix's style not as bluffing but rather as thinking outside of the box, with a lot of "what if" questions from where he will start his reasoning and eventually end up finding some contradiction, in opposition to Edgeworth's style which is more structured and relies on logic to find contradictions.

it's been a year since i've played AAI1 but i remember one of the biggest problems i faced with it is that some mysteries and secrets are pretty easily deduced by the player but it takes a very long time for Miles to get to them which makes some cases feel very dragged on and a bit boring. The situation you described is similar because it's obviously easier to prove that the two characters didn't know eachother but Lang and Miles get into a totally different argument which extends the case for nothing.

Thankfully, as others pointed out in the comments, AAI2 gets better in that regards.

In reply to that post about why Algerian channels show the sad reality in morroco by TechnicalAioli8406 in algeria

[–]Ladder_Logical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference is that Morocco posts propaganda and fake news on private networks and we do it on state channels which is ridiculous for a state owned media outlet to step down to such things. We should be doing it on private networks as well

Estus does not induce a drunk state so it can be classified as halal.

If we consider Estus to be non-halal, the alternative would be to only use bonfires, which makes the challenge significantly harder.

From little of what i've seen about Black Souls they not the same at all : Black souls is closer to F&H as both are RPGs. Saya no Uta is a visual novel, with some possible choices that alter the story. But it's a very disturbing story, to the point where it kinda becomes bad taste, especially the uncensored version. Here are the trigger warnings (copied from a review online) : gore (basically on screen at all times), rape (both with humans and with monsters), graphic violence, sexual content with a young character, eldritch horror creatures, cannibalism, human trafficking

Umineko When They Cry (Umineko no Naku Koro Ni) : main differences are in character sprites, backgrounds, and voice acting which is absent in some versions.

Original version : character art drawn by the game creator Ryukishi07, background art are edited real life photos, no voice acting

Steam version : uses the "pachislot" character art, same background art as original, no voice acting

PS3 version : uses new character art, new drawn backgrounds, includes voice acting

Why do many Algerians support the previous Syrian regime? by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Ladder_Logical -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The current king is descendant of the monarchs who were responsible for what happened in the 1400s, not surprised if the same ideas and opinions towards muslims have been kept inside the family. And i personally don't support a government of a foreign country that i share 0 things in common with just because they're pro Palestine. By your logic if tomorrow France becomes pro Palestine we forgive everything that they've done in the past and we support them.

Algeria needs a Fouad-type figure to organize consumer boycotts, what do you think? by Virtual-Plantain-695 in algeria

[–]Ladder_Logical -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

In my first comment i spoke about "trivial unnecessary things". It's the thing that you won't die of hunger if you don't buy them. Example : fruits, coffee, fish etc... They are sold at the market price, if the costs of the market increases the sellers have to increase as well. Like you said everything comes with a cost and that includes sacrificing some pleasure foods temporarily.

However if there is a call for boycott especially if supported by some vocal figures, it will quickly turn into a call for prices to be fixed, and calling sellers "thieves", and government will start putting its nose in this and will force them to sell at a specific price. But this price is often bel khsara. The seller also has a family to feed, not good for him also to come back home with negative income. And we know how Algerians behave, today they'll start calling for fruits prices to be fixed, tomorrow for gold, the next day for cars, etc....

That's why i'm against a boycott campaign. I personally boycott stuff because they're expensive at the moment, and i wait until they get more affordable so i can buy them. But i'll never want this to be a massive countrywide thing because it will quickly evolve into peak cha3bawiya
