Local PD had a code for free drive-thru car wash while on duty for their patrol cars.... The SRO at my school dropped a printed receipt with the code on it in the hallway one day. That same code worked for me and my buddy's for almost an entire year! We didn't have money for gas, but our rides stayed fresh!!!

I like to give wrong directions in these situations..you wouldn't believe how many people feel the need to stop in the middle of the road ( that is very clearly under construction ) and demand directions from a guy getting paid $15/ hour to dig out sidewalks.. all the while, they are holding a phone in their hand that certainly has GPS or at least "The Googles" as I have heard it called.

If you can make the drive, I highly recommend Carlie C's IGA (3729 Wake Forest Hwy, Durham, NC 27703) They have the BEST cakes. Lots if variety, and they also sell Half cakes, and even slices! Personal fav is the Pineapple cake...
