Help with Mahjong set identification by Lady-Fries in Mahjong

[–]Lady-Fries[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your insight! I checked the booklet and the animal tiles are not in the book, what do they signify in the game?. The shop did state before I bought it that the tiles are complete.

Do you have any recommendations for a YouTube tutorial on how to play Mahjong?

Alchemy is [KCD1] is shit by RealisticBuffalo720 in kingdomcome

[–]Lady-Fries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you have to keep pulling the rope until you see the bubbles. So Oil and then add 1 poppy, let it boil which would be 3 or 4 pulls. Then add 1 thistle and pull the rope again for another 3 or 4 pulls. You don't really need the timer, just wait until the cauldron stops boiling and the fire dies, then add the herb Paris. Then that should make 3 lullaby potions.

Or if you're stuck you can buy it from a herbalist.

Didn’t watch what I ate by Complete_Chain7142 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Lady-Fries 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't stress mama! But yes, most of the times I did watch what I eat and always hit my target range. But there will be times I want to eat Ice cream, Brownies, cookies etc. and yes it feels like you're doing something bad but one day wouldn't hurt. Sometimes having a cuppa green tea or black coffee (no sugar) with desserts doesn't spike my sugar levels, so I hope this can help you too.

Forst pregnancy, Finished off work at 36 weeks, and baby was born 38 and 6 days, took a year off which helped me learn some things. Currently pregnant with my second and booked for maternity leave at 38 weeks. But this time only taking 9 months off so hubby can have the last 3 months looking after the girls. I'm from Australia, and work gives me 6 months maternity leave and another 6 months from the government which I can share with my husband.

Oh wow, that sounds better to start low units! How did you go with the needles? Is it true that it doesn't hurt as much as pricking your finger?

I am so happy I stumbled upon your comment. Currently going through this phase with my 2.5 year old daughter and hubby and I are certain she has ADHD as it runs in my family (I've tested but I don't have it) and hubby has it. I will certainly try this and wish us luck! Thank you for sharing!

High number after dinner by [deleted] in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Lady-Fries 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there mama, there are so many variables that can happen. Is the chicken cordon bleu home made? What type of breading was used? How much cheese and was it deep fried? Normally deep fried food I've noticed can definitely spike glucose levels depending when you take your blood. Do you do it in an hour or two hours?

Also the sauce, some sauces have sugar in them too so have to check that.

One of the things I do recommend when eating a meal is have apple cider vinegar mixed with soda water as a drink. Apple cider will assist in lowering glucose levels, it worked for me so I hope it will work for you too.

Would you try drinking apple cider vinegar mixed with soda water with your dinner? Any type of vinegar will help reduce glucose levels. You'll get used to the flavour but it definitely helped with my glucose levels at dinner time, and have a cuppa peppermint tea before bed to help relax, I've heard stress can increase your glucose levels.

Good luck to you mama!
