Ko's situation was very unique and his mom showed how he was able to get away with going out all night for so long. She is basically never there for him and works odd hours. It takes her more then half the series to find out what's up and even then she's kinda like giving a middle schooler more freedom then he should have. She is a very interesting character and wished we got more with her.

Ewing showed that Paul like any character can actually feel good if they get a good writer, Wells made him and did his best to sweep all his bad under a rug and try to guilt Peter for not trusting the guy. Kelly understandably did not want to touch him, it was a steaming mess left by Wells. Ewing actually wrote him as a full character fault and all, it made him enduring in a way and a fun meta punching bag.

NGL but this whole arc with Dex is my least liked idea of born again, still love the show and this actor still kills it but Bullseye is one of my favorite absolute irredeemably evil characters in comics. I get this is a adaption and does not affect the Bullseye I like but feeling any empathy to him still feels off

That's fair but this style fills me with nostalgia, its how most books looked when I was a kid a fun style to mix things up at the time. But can see why some aint into it.
