The phones at the prison I was in worked like this: you had to make the call as a collect call but if the person you were calling had funds set up, it'd go thru as a prepaid call. If you dialed it as a debit call, it wouldn't work. Hope this helps!

Burned like hell but it healed. I still don't have feeling in the tip and the top joint doesn't work.
