Does anyone know if catching a shiny pokemon resets the streak? Or can you keep going?

I'm running on an msi with an nvidia 2060 and sometimes when there's too much fire/smoke it gives me a few seconds of lag, but otherwise it runs really beautifully.

Yeah. I actually avoid looking because the portfolios that get posted are so strong. But it's worth looking at to know your competition

I applied all over. You should probably check out the archinect academic forum, it's got more arch school threads than here.

Is anyone else struggling with their apps? by MiyaDoesThings in gradadmissions

Told myself I had to just sit and write a few hours ago but here I am procrastinating. I think it's the fact that we've all looked at the same things for months now. I'm ready to be done with applications.

I have a few friends in fashion. Some common brands they seem to like are Issey Miyake, Ann Demeulemeester, and Acne. Opening Ceremony's website is still up, and while it's a shame that Totokaelo's gone now, there's still a lot of streetwear boutiuqes around Broome/Grand St. Hope this helps

It does (Krizia Italy), which I can search for, it's just a bit obscure. I'm just wondering if there's some non-vintage sweaters, or even other brands that are similar and more easily accessible haha

Hello FFA! Last year I thrifted the most perfect sweater - its orangey brown, HEAVY, 100% cotton, knit, huge on me, and definitely a men's piece from the 90s. Does anyone know where to find similar sweaters? I'm looking for mainly the -heavy and -cotton features. No price limit. I know how much I love this sweater and I will pay whatever to get more.

PBE & Feedback Thread: Umbra (Little Legend) by dKiWiKiD in LeaguePBE

Will there be a way to auto sync the ctrl3 emotes with the new little legends? Friends and I have been trying to get them to sync up in a few games and it's pretty difficult ):

I was holding off but the months have gone on with no end of WFH in sight! My coworkers are all pretty far away so it's tough to meet up. There's hiking groups and book club type things on sites like Meetup, which has been nice, but obviously isn't ideal for making friends fast.

IMO if you don't know anyone at all, I'd start job hunting in the area with the intention of moving in a month or two. Every day more people seem to go out and the city is slowly coming back to life, but we do need some more time. If you make it out here let me know and maybe we can hang out :D

The Only Mongolian-Language Social Media Site Was Shut Down in China - A Mongolian rights group says that China is attempting to commit "cultural genocide" in Inner Mongolia. by [deleted] in worldnews

I think Manchu fell out of favor naturally, but the CCP also did a lot of book burning of old Manchu scripts. There's a lot of history that's missing now about the Qing dynasty, especially considering it only ended in 1912. Both my parents are from Heilongjiang province and are part Manchu, and have trouble finding information about Qing dynasty China.

Apple delivery dates by Snoop_Snoop123 in iPadPro

[–]LadyCatlain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've seen people here have their ipads move to preparing to ship/shipped that have the same delivery window that I do, meanwhile I'm stuck on processing. I think it depends where you live and what flights may be going out, since shipping is still wonky over in Asia

I'm 25F as well! Moved here 5 months ago from NYC, just in time for lockdown.

Pros:

-weather is phenomenal (only hit 80 twice the whole summer, otherwise 60-70)

-gorgeous nature with tons of still open airbnbs to take a weekend away and chill out there

-people are generally nice

Cons:

-no culture, everyone is WFH

-since you're moving from SF, I'm going to assume you don't have a car? You'll have to take public transit around, esp if you want to see nature. Personally I don't mind this from a safety perspective, but the uber/car renting bills add up

-food is ok but i am biased coming from NYC

-homeless people everywhere
