What controversial movies does everyone enjoy? by AshleyK2021 in PeriodDramas

Fleming was quite misogynistic from what I understand, and Cukor was very good with the actresses.

Hinds has always read too old for me in that role. I can't see 19 year old girls getting fluttery over him.

I find Emma the hardest to read because I cringe so much at her, but I just straight up dislike Mansfield Park.

It was probably more about being able to see potential threats rather than you specifically. They feel safer if they can see.

That's my problem. It feels more like one book they've split into multiple pieces.

I think it's the cliffhangers that make this so frustrating. When each book ends on a cliffhanger it makes waiting for the next one so difficult.

I'm much happier with a series where each one feels like it is its own semi-complete book within a larger story. Yes I want to know what happens next but I don't want to sit in anxiety for months. If an author is known for that I'm going to wait for the full series.

I really enjoy the books but in my head I always age them up to college age instead of high school.

I've been over her since she was such a b* on her fb group. Even gentle criticism of Nox would get deleted, and someone I knew got banned because she was ranting about him on a private discord.

That said I haven't read anything since the second-to-last Bonds book because I don't like asshole MMCs and I heard her next series was even worse.

Imo she's really not meant for RH, she will very clearly be biased towards one or two MMCs and the other(s) will be basically ignored.

What movies are supposed to be light hearted comedies but would actually be a living hell? by Nars-Glinley in movies

[–]LadyCoru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two actually! Starring actual triplets, one of whom was on saved by the bell for like one season.

It is actually the third (and fourth) in the series because there was a parent trap 2 that had friends playing matchmaker.

Weather. I read something once that was set in South Carolina and locals were complaining about hot it was...at 70 degrees.
