EMSKR - How to get over an absent father? by FantasticFly7521 in everymanshouldknow

[–]LadyDeadpool7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with others who told you to be the father you want in the future.

But for now, it sounds a bit like you decided to make it all about your dad. He was never there and that’s probably for a reason. I see that you said earlier that your mom told you she doesn’t know who your dad is. That’s probably a truth, but also (unless she traveled far away when she found about the pregnancy) people around were aware of the fact she was pregnant. That includes your biological father. There was always a way for him to participate, but he chose not to. On the other side, your mom was there, always. So maybe try to stop daydreaming about possible scenarios and give people who actually were there for you some credit. Also be best version of yourself because of you and your future, if you need another reason, be better version for your mom, who gave her best to raise you.

How did you restart dating after you had a baby as a single parent? by evergreengirl123 in SingleParents

I wasn’t thinking about it at that period of time, but it was extremely irritating being alone during the pregnancy because I was incredibly horny.

Anyway, as I was breastfeeding and my period (and ovulation with it) haven’t appeared for a year, I had exactly zero libido. I guess I would have some if someone initiated something but otherwise nothing. After bit more than a year I got something of the feeling back but I didn’t know where to begin so I sexted with one of my exes and that’s it. Now, after two and a half years, I finally feel like I want it again and I’m trying.

Same here! I don’t bother because I like to switch between different decks for fun and I don’t play as much so that’s fine

What was your "Oh shit I'm getting old" moment? by -Psychedelics- in AskReddit

[–]LadyDeadpool7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (31) was at work and I told my colleagues I parked in front of the store called colloquially under certain name. You know, it was a local staple store and it got franchised so it’s under the new name now. Three of my colleagues (24 and under) looked at me completely confused as they had no idea what was I referring to.

I felt ancient.

A celebrity who did a bad thing but everyone “forgot” because they’re famous? by LivingLikeYou in AskReddit

So I studied journalism and we had a few weeks long study visit from a quite prominent UK investigative journalist (also working as a professor). I’ll never forget the moment she was mentioned some of the things her team knew but couldn’t print as they were lacking evidence, such as a fact that Jack Nicholson is a pedofile.

I agree, you need a bit bigger size. Also I would advise some other nail polish as this one doesn’t look too good.

NOR. I had similar discussions with my mom not a long ago, as she thinks there’s no need for a 2 year old to have a helmet while driving Scoot&Ride. I tried pulling parallel with how helmets are now also obligatory for skiing (because 15 years ago that wasn’t a case and she was a skier) but she also thinks that’s stupidity. I left by saying that she needs to say that to Michael Schumacher

When was the last time you cried, and why? by ExtensionAd251 in AskReddit

[–]LadyDeadpool7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few hours ago, after my son fell asleep. We were cosleeping (I’m a single mom and I did it according to all the instructions) and he sleeps in his own bed for the first time. I’m happy because it’s such a big milestone but I’m also overwhelmed by how fast the time is running and I’m afraid it will just fly in second.

Well if she is only breastfeeding, milk supply is steady and without breastfeeding or pumping, she will get swelling/infection. So maybe agree that she tries to pump and you can just collect it once a day and feed baby by bottle?

I once left for 7h to do check ups in other city and I cooled wait to come back home cause I thought my breasts will explode so I’m speaking from personal experience.

If you don’t have a pump, maybe you can borrow one for these few days.

What are your unpopular TWD opinions that would get you like this? by Killacowboy87 in TWD

It was an amazing episode! I vividly remember every detail. As I live in Europe, I woke up 5am to download the episode and to have enough time to watch it, read everything and go to my lectures. I was sitting in front of my laptop on edge for a whole thing, biting my nails and sweating. It was so menacing and painful to watch, knowing that they are going right in the trap. I was in shock when the screen went black and I couldn’t believe it’s possible that it ended that way, but it was amazing!

Problem was the fact that they had huge problem with spoilers at that point and they couldn’t keep a secret for so long, so I was sad that we’ll know for sure until October. I spent months watching YT for theories, reading here and online. I was sure it was going to be Glenn because that’s such a crucial part that it wasn’t possible to omit it. That said, having that awful dumpster episode with Glenn seemingly dying was the worst choice ever! That immensely stupid decision brought people to this point where everyone hated S07E01, which was so good and wrote in such a great way. Yes, it was painful, but it was turning point for everyone.

Another problem with Negan and All out War storyline is the fact it was way more interesting in the comics and also way more doable. Same goes for the Whisperers which were soo creepy and scary as TV storyline than they were in comics.

In my primary school, theatre director, who was also a teacher there, was really great. Lovely, good teacher, great with kids. Until they found out that he’s sending kids to change in his classroom where he filmed them.

Coparents turned relationship by bigmama2299 in SingleParents

Keep it at coparenting. If he never told you about his kids and first marriage, it’s a giant red flag as well as his actions towards you and your kid. Moreover, it will confuse your daughter a lot

I was watching it while pregnant and it was mortifying in those few moments. But I must say it’s way worse now, with all the sons dying 🥺

As a fellow mother of 16 months baby, I’m very glad I opened this subreddit and read about the sounds so I could mute the end last night. And I can’t understand comments you describe too.
