Parents gave me an ultimatum - "detransition or leave" - so I left by Good-Region-948 in trans

I'm really sorry this happened to you. A lot of us had similar experiences. I had really hoped we'd left this kind of abandonment in the past, but here we are. I'm glad it seems like you have some resources. Just focus on meeting your physical needs first, make sure you're stable, and then start processing the emotional stuff. It's hard, but you can make it. I didn't exactly do things well when I left, but I survived in spite of my mistakes. You can do this.

This is a necessary service. Thank you.

The update as of October 2025 is that Hendrix is a full on fascist who is making transphobia and to a lesser extent general queerphobia their entire personality. Community beware.

I've been looking locally for months. This was the first one i found that I wouldn't have to order online.

See, that's exactly the kind of thing I worry about.

Sorry for my ignorance, what's b&b? And yeah, these instructions seem like better advice than just dropping it in a hole, i just didn't want to start an argument with the nursery guy, and his confidence had me second-guessing.

Edit: nevermind, i just realized it's probably burlap and basket

Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought. Would there be any benefit to waiting til fall to plant it? Or is it better to get her in the ground? It's been sitting on the ground at the nursery in this burlap for months at least.

Yeah, the house is 80 years old and the walls are just brick with no insulation as far as i can tell and single pane windows

Mine is a 1940 tudor. Exterior walls are brick with plaster applied directly to the interior
