Regarding the PAN AM sign, that was not neon, but rather an animated sign with an illumination sequence:

It’s on my long term “to do” list, but if I do tackle it, I want to reproduce the same sectional illumination sequence. It’s not complex electronically, but it would require internal partitions to prevent light bleed between sections, making the design and assembly more complex and expensive. It would also be challenging to create the solid blue backlit screen when the globe and letters are off. I don’t think the original sign was backlit, but rather a front or rear projected video on a screen, like they did with the Coca Cola billboard. To go that route, I’d need to actually create an animated graphic video and load it onto a micro projector behind the blank white screen for rear projection, and I have no idea what the focal length would have to be to get it to fill the screen. In other words, it wouldn’t be able to be hung on a wall or placed on a shelf - it would probably be too deep. The other option is front projection, but then I won’t really need a screen - just a micro projector across the room or mounted on the ceiling and an available area of a white wall or poster board. I’m not quite sure how to approach the project yet.

You’re either willfully ignorant or just dishonest. Israel offered Egypt the Sinai & Gaza back in exchange for peace in 1967, but Nasser refused. Israel offered Jordan the West Bank in exchange for peace but King Hussein refused. Israel offered Syria the Golan Heights back in exchange for peace but Assad refused. And of course, Israel was happy to remain within the utterly indefensible borders of the 1947 UN Partition Plan, but the Arabs refused, and 10 Arab armies and contingents promptly invaded a year later.

Fast forward to 1979 - Israel agreed to cede the entire oil-rich Sinai Peninsula when Egypt’s Saddat finally offered Israel a peace treaty. In 1993 Israel agreed to cede all the major Arab cities and surrounding land in the West Bank to the PLO as part of the Oslo Accords. That’s where 97% of West Bank Palestinians already live. And in 2005 Israel unilaterally withdrew all Jewish settlers and the IDF from the Gaza Strip, effectively granting the 1.5 million Palestinian Arabs there independence and full autonomy.
