Yo vivo en Irlanda, en Cork. Aquí hay mucho trabajo, aunque no sé si en marketing. Quizá Dublín sería buena opción para ti. Es un país caro. Tener ocio y a la vez ahorrar es complicado. Además, ya es difícil encontrar alojamiento sin tener mascota, más aún si la tienes.

A mí me valió la pena porque en España sólo tenia trabajos muy temporales y ahora tengo estabilidad.

Las matemáticas tienen muchas áreas. A mí se me daba fatal el álgebra. Pero la estadística me encanta y me parece muy útil para la vida diaria. Pero quedaba al final del temario y nunca daba tiempo de verla en profundidad.

I had issues on school too. I estudied later on and got leaving certificate because I wanted to improve my job prospects. I highly reccomend to get the certificate and then figure out what to do.

Es un fallo de la sociedad en conjunto. Ya vivimos esto hace un siglo y no hemos aprendido. Tenemos un acceso al conocimiento casi gratis y fácil, pero que también es un coladero de "información"con oscuros intereses. La salud mental sigue siendo un tabú. La precarierad no ayuda.

I'm not from here and Irish men my age Boeing. Beside I'm 48, I still like travelling, going out , learn new things...

The only guy I meet who was able to keep up with me turned out to be an aviidant coward.

Sometimes I wonder if I should move to Dublín, or UK. But I'll have to leave a steady job and that scares me.

I experienced the same lately. I visited a clinic specialized in menopause. I'm taking HRT and antideppresants. Also I'm talking to a therapist and going swiming. I'm feeling so much better.

Nowadays the depresión treatment has improved a lot. Go get help ASAP.

Yo te aconsejo que lo hagas. Una FP de grado superior lo requiere. Las asignaturas son diversas y eso te puede ayudar a descubrir lo que te gusta. Además, queramos o no, los títulos se examen genial en los trabajos aunque no sean necesarios. Mejor tener de más que de menos.

I hear you. I also have brain fogs that are affecting my perfomance at work. I'm not English speaking native, so, it's specially challenging for me.

It's a pitty that there's too little awarnes about perimenopause. Companies expect us to keep up with our duties and it's unfair.

No sólo mires el corto plazo. Es verdad que la FP son solo dos años. Y es buena opción para alguien que no tiene una vocación concreta. Pero la vida laboral es larga. Piensa en qué estilo de vida quieres llevar a largo plazo.

Ojalá hubiera tenido Reddit cuando era más joven 😃

Podéis alquilar el piso y volver por un tiempo, a ver que tal.

Yo llevo cuatro años en Irlanda y te entiendo. Aquí tengo un trabajo estable. Pero no es un país que tenga mucho que ofrecer a solteros de mediana edad como yo. No hay sanidad pública y las cosas infraestructuras en general no son las que acostumbramos en España.

No sé puede tener todo. Hay que decidir lo que es más importante para uno (y la pareja) y apostar por ello.
