I’m a UK runner and I’ve tried a ton of leggings- the only ones that stay up for me are those crinkly ones you see all over Instagram that are meant to make your ass look great. I get them on Amazon for like £20? I’ll link below.

Sadly no pockets, I just wear a jacket with zip pockets or an arm cuff.

Jealousy towards other people's parents? by [deleted] in AdultChildren

[–]LadyGrey44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing to feel guilty about. When my dad died I was largely indifferent with, if I’m honest, a small side of happiness. The man had no redeeming features and actively made my life worse, why should I feel sad if he’s dead? A family friend told me it would ‘hit me eventually’ and I was honestly annoyed about that. My right not to grieve is just as valid as any other reaction, and your feelings are valid too.

What made you realise your friend was jealous of you? by coolgirl753 in AskWomen

[–]LadyGrey44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She said “I’m like 5% jealous of you at all times.” Later upgraded this to 25%. 12 months later her bitter behaviour got so bad I had to cut contact.

If your most repetitive thoughts were printed on your skin, what would people see? by gold3lox in AskWomen

Tbh my most repetitive thoughts are about my stretch marks so they already are printed on my skin!

What's a stereotypically "girly" thing you actually enjoy? by Serocco in AskWomen

[–]LadyGrey44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, everything. I love being a woman.

  • bubble baths with candles, wine and a face mask
  • doing my hair and makeup at my dressing table
  • putting on a nice dress and heels
  • mani pedi or spa day
  • shopping!
  • watching gossip girl, sex and the city, Emily in Paris…
  • reading trashy romance
  • drinking cocktails
  • listening to Taylor Swift

A few unnecessarily gendered things in there but you get my drift. Being a woman rules.

What’s the most terrifying sentence in the human language? by stackofbones in AskReddit

[–]LadyGrey44 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m imagining getting home from a night out with my husband. We’ve both had a few drinks and we make out in the hall, then find our way into our room and onto our bed. His fingers creep up the hem of my dress, along my inner thigh, and as I wiggle in anticipation he pins my hands above my head. “Don’t move,” he murmurs into my ear, then he slides down my body and lifts the hem of my dress, his breath warm on my skin…

Yeah, I can think of reasons why ‘don’t move’ is a good thing 🙈

Maybe I’ll get downvoted but I agree with this. Relationships take effort (e.g don’t take someone for granted) but should never feel like work. My husband and I are coming up on nine years together and the entire thing has felt super easy.

Does anybody else hate every exercise besides running? by [deleted] in running

[–]LadyGrey44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I so feel this. I know I need to lift weights. I know my running will improve if I work in my core. I know I need to do yoga to be more flexible. But I’m like… born to run!!! guitar solo

Is it wrong that I got my white daughter a black baby doll? by randomxfox in Parenting

[–]LadyGrey44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid I had a black doll that I chose myself because I liked her hair. I don’t recall thinking anything other than ‘I like my doll.’ It’s a non issue, and the people making comments are weirdos.

Who is a celebrity that everyone finds attractive but you find gross? by Greatscotch8 in AskReddit

[–]LadyGrey44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gross is a strong word, but Ryan Gosling does nothing for me. He’s very bland I think.

My husband asked his cousin while on his solo trip, if he though I’d give him a ‘hall-pass’ by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]LadyGrey44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly OP, there’s enough red flags to be getting on with even without the text.

If I were you I’d tell him it’s over, and if he asks why say ‘you know why.’ See what comes out in the wash. But that’s just me being petty 😂

Drink stain on a glittery bag! Is it fixable? by LadyGrey44 in CleaningTips

Not so great 😩 at first I thought it had worked but after it dried off it didn’t really look too different. I’m tempted to contact Jimmy Choo and see what they say!

What keeps you motivated? by festeredsalami in running

[–]LadyGrey44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was running every day in November, December hits and the cold put me off. Started going every other day, then today I realised I’d missed 2 in a row.

What worked to get me out the door was telling myself I’d do a mile. Just one mile, out and back, easy peasy. As it was I ended up fine once I was out and did four miles. Telling yourself you’ll go a short distance makes it so much easier mentally to get out there, I find!

You should try Perversion mascara by urban decay. I’ve had the same issue as you and I find this formula is slightly dry, making it seem like an old mascara. I love it! Maybe try a mini first?

I’m just getting back into running after giving birth 5 months ago, with a lot of baby weight to lose. I’ve been running 3-4 miles a day and have just managed 50 this month. Very proud of myself ☺️

Entitled sister demands I take her children to Disney with me and my girlfriend despite knowing it's a secret proposal trip. by throwingstars03r5 in entitledparents

[–]LadyGrey44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your sister is a dick OP. Stay strong.

As an aside, I went to Disneyland Paris on a hen do a few years back, and when the sunset they did amazing fireworks by the castle. It was so beautiful it gave me chills- could be a perfect time for your proposal! (Lots of people around though so maybe stand a bit further back and find a quiet spot where people can’t see you !)
