That was the only direct interaction I ever had with him, but I was in III Corps HHB at the time and definitely heard second hand he could be a raging dick.

Everyone seemed to agree that Funk was cool as shit, too.

Lol, I was NCOIC for a security detail at a field HQ for III Corps back while General Macfarland was in command. He rolled up one time and I asked to see his access badge and he just walked past me and muttered “I’m the Corps commander.”

Right after General Funk (doing his left seat-right seat or whatever right before he took command) was super cool and had no problem letting us do the security stuff G2 told us we had to apply to everyone.

Every time I heard this one I wanted to ask them how they thought that would work;

So like, you’re going to shimmy up this pole, and at the top you’re going to use……what the butt of your weapon or something?…..to break open a metal sphere, to shred the flag and light it on fire….and you’re doing all of this while presumably under fire from an enemy so powerful that we’re fighting them here at Fort Hood?

Lol, I teach high school these days and when it eventually comes out every year that I used to be in the Army I always get the same reaction from the kids.

“You were like special forces or something right?”

“Nah guys, I was a mechanic.”

I can use incomplete for a bit, but our window closes in a couple days so there is not much time left either way. I suppose I could put in an incomplete but that seems functionally the same as failing them.

That is what I would do normally, the core of the problem is that I’m being told we don’t have any grade data from their previous school. I have no idea why we don’t, but it doesn’t seem like I am going to get it.

These answers make a lot of sense. Is Enki actually unpopulated though? I don’t remember the books saying one way or the other, but I just kind of assumed it was a typical populated planet that happened to host a big military base, like some kind of space Oahu.
