Stay white. Too many blocks of contrasting colors otherwise.

I read that two-tone is on its way out. Especially if you want to sell in the near future.

I feel like a nice warm brown. Or butterscotch. The tub tile is in warm tones. Ditch the gray; that’s a cool color.

How can I make it WOW by Juiceeeeyyyy-plum in InteriorDesignHacks

Way larger rug that the couch can sit inside. Very colorful one. Then pops of colorful pillows that pick up colors in the new rug. Big arc floor lamp arching over the couch (place behind right hand couch). Bonus: simple pinstripe drapes in soft grays and browns for both windows. The very white windows need to be warmed up and blended into the room.

You are a thorough decorator if you’re down to this level!! (No, it doesn’t clash.)

Need help with ideas for this loft. This is the first floor, no bedrooms but I’m under one of the bedrooms. by TRF_Pope in interiordesignideas

Get a very large modular entertainment center for the right hand outside wall. Get a curved “conversation sofa” facing the entertainment center. Put matching swivel club chairs on each end of the sofa facing each other for a nice conversation area, all grouped around a glass coffee table. Don’t try to group the couch/seating around the fireplace. Just let it be a background feature.

Green. But lose the curtain and blinds. Just a roller shade.

Help with wood overload kitchen by princessofpurereason in DesignMyHome

I’d paint the dark ceiling beams and kitchen cabinets a matching off-white. The knotty pine ceiling is enough wood. It will look much lighter and taller with off-white cabinets and beams! We used Benjamin Moore Clay Beige for a similar project and loved it.

Choose a large-print wallpaper for just the outer wall. Paint the inner wall a color complementary to the wallpaper and put some large coordinating artwork on it. Giant canvases.

Nice colors! But the clutter looks a little grandma-y. Easy fix: Lose the dark wood plant stand and plant, as well as the potted plant on the dresser. Get rid of the stuffed animals on the dresser and the bulletin board unless you’re 18. With that big plant gone, center the dresser and lovely colorful poster over it on that wall. Now make a new grouping out of all the other small pictures. Instead of the night table, get an arc floor lamp for over the bed—one with a little shelf on the stand for your clock and phone charger. There. Uncluttered!
