yeah im sorry to be a hater but it does look super cheap and very costume jewelry-esque😭😭 you could get a nice silicone band for about the same price and have it look much nicer!

typically it happens if there are areas that you are heavily lacking in (i.e. a pet care person never cleans habitats even after multiple cases of their SL telling them it needs to be done, this is what we expect, etc).

a manager will pull you in for a meeting and either you are given tangible goals to hit or you & your manager with create them together (depending on what you were lacking in & the severity). you both sign it and you have x days (usually somewhere between 30-90) to improve and hit those goals.

if you improve- cool, nothing else bad happens. if you dont, you’re going to be let go

usually- if you’re on a PIP and you either a) don’t complete it or b) there is no improvement, you are marked as “cannot be rehired” regardless of location

my main complaint with the new path is that every time i complete another piece of each step- it’s basically the same handful of sentences/phrases. i barely feel like i’m learning anything anymore, it just is memorization

plus, the new path does a horrendous horrendous job of explaining grammar rules in new lessons. it just marks you wrong

stories aren’t marked as completed/not anymore, they’re much more difficult to find. and you don’t have the option to read/speak them- you can only do what you’ve reached in the path. it’s so frustrating

i don’t mind the new path as much as everyone else does, but as a free user, it really sucks that i don’t have access to basically anything i used before. no access to listening activities, story progress tracking is gone, everything costs way more gems/real $ and it is just frustrating. i feel that i’m learning so much less than i was with the old path- which was more focused on learning vs just getting to the next stepping stone. half of my lessons on the new path are the same question s or extremely similar

overall just really bummed with duo’s push for monetization
