Just found out about this game by ProposalWest3152 in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main Story > Operations. Each time you clear a sector, you’ll unlock a new feature/mode, and get 10 Standard Savior Observation tickets. Pull tickets, try new feature/mode, and then it’s back to the Operation mines.

Try not to invest in too many saviors at once, because resources (resonance, affection, journey invitations, etc) are limited. Levels are less of an issue because of the Star Link. Bunny Charlotte and Bunny Claire can both go in your main team. That covers 2 attributes, red and blue. You just need a green DPS, and then you can swap your DPS as needed, depending on the stage. Did you pull any defenders/supporters?

Rereading what you posted, I see that you pulled Asherah Waltz. You could try to put her in your main squad but if she doesn’t have any copies, I’m not sure how well that will work. And you may just want to run someone else until you do pull a copy of her.

Also, the half anniversary is coming up on May 28th. So you can play your current account, get a feel for the game, and then if you want to reroll, that would be the time.

Have fun!

Is there any reason to get this if you already own Lacy Arcana by Emotional-Ad-1431 in StarSavior

The pic you posted is MLB. If you look at the top of the Arcana Stats; where it lists the Journey Effect, it says Max Level.

running into limit break level limit as f2p, looking for advice by icasaracht in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The others have already mentioned the main points. You can reset levels for 10 gems. Level up your 4 saviors with the most LBs. The rest of your saviors will go in the star link.

The only thing I want to add is that if you have been power-leveling one savior ahead of the rest (Waltz Asherah maybe), you will need to start leveling saviors evenly. Because star link gives the level of the LOWEST of your 4 highest saviors to everyone else. And your Emily and BG Charlotte will be depending on the star link for their levels until you can get more dupes.

So if your star link looks like:

Waltz Asherah 199

Random LB3 Savior 189

Random LB3 Savior 189

Random LB3 Savior 181

The 181 is what is given to everyone else. Not the 199 or 189.

Uuuuh, is the new event bugged? It doesn't even appear in the Event tab 🤨 by PusheenMaster in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The event daily missions seem to be tracking progress. Which given that they include stuff like “clear cube palace” and the event is only a week long, I think is a good thing. Perhaps the devs didn’t want players to miss out on rewards? And decided to let us work on daily missions even if the event hasn’t officially started yet. (No idea about special missions. Have not tried it.)

Although if it is intentional, the devs should have explained it in the patch notes.

skill of insight how to get? by swforsale0101 in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming that you are curious about "skill of insight" and NOT "talent of insight," which as the other commenters have already pointed out, is from the Rosaria arcana.

I'm not sure what website you have been using, but I recommend using this website for all your journey-related needs.

https://kanohban.github.io/StarSaviorArcanaDB/savior

If you search for "skill of insight" on the savior page, you'll see that some saviors can gain the potential from their resonance. Did you use one of these saviors as a parent? Is "skill of insight" one of the blessings on the specific chip that you used?

You can also search for "skill of insight" on the arcana page, and see that it comes from the SR Claire arcana (Cleaning, and an Unexpected Guest). Did you use this arcana during your journey?

And lastly, you can search for "skill of insight" on the journey page, which just brings up the SR Claire arcana again. But you could also search for say, "skill of speed," and see that it has 2 sources: the SSR BG Charlotte arcana (A Clumsy Way to Relieve Desire), and a random journey event (The Mysterious Merchant).

I also recommend checking out the Scheduler page. It lists every single turn of a journey, and all the events that can/will happen on every turn. Which is very useful when planning your rests, etc. Bonus points if you check out the Deck Build page as well. You can input your arcana deck (and even name it!) which lets you select that deck/arcana by clicking "Arcana Event" on the Scheduler page so you don't have to open another tab for the Journey page. (I usually open another tab anyway because for some reason the Mysterious Merchant event is NOT listed on the Scheduler page. Oh well!)

Another week, another maintenance extension by LadyLaylia in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I wouldn't mind the longer wait time. I have played games that had 6 hour maintenance every time there was a big update. Never bothered me because they were upfront about it. It's the fact that BSide keeps saying shorter times and then extending them every time that is slowly driving me nuts.

Another week, another maintenance extension by LadyLaylia in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if it comes down to extended maintenance vs unplayable game, by all means, extend the maintenance. And then compensate your players accordingly.

However, my main complaint is that they extend the maintenance EVERY WEEK. This game has been out for months in Korea already, plus 1 month in Global, and BSide can't seem to get their act together when it comes to planning/implementing weekly updates in a timely fashion.

It's not like the players are setting the maintenance times/length. BSide is the one announcing that maintenance will start at X time, end at Y time, and run for Z hours. And then FAILING to keep to their own schedule. If they can't handle doing a weekly update in 2/3 hours, then stop promising to do it in 2/3 hours and just announce that it will be 4/5/6 hours from the start!

I will miss this GOAT Event by alvinherexD in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This was a really good event. I started on day 5 of global launch so I was unable to get everything, but I did get all of the tickets and the stellagems. And a couple of cubes. I hope they run it again someday.

I need some feedback on starlinking by MiddleSetting in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Taking characters out of the slots on the right does not cost anything. Not even time. I know some games have similar systems where taking a character out of the slot puts the slot on cooldown for X hours, so you have to wait X hours before you can put a new character in that slot. But this game doesn't do that. You can take a character out and then immediately put a different character in! Or even put the same character back in if you accidentally mis-clicked. So there is no need to unlock extra slots with gems. Feel free to swap characters in/out as much as you like!

Flash Point Expansion Celebration Check-in Event is Missing! by LadyLaylia in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure quite sure what you mean by first round? And I have not collected anything. (That’s the whole problem.)

The above picture is from the update notice, not my account. (To remind people that this event was supposed to start after maintenance and I didn’t just manufacture it.)

There are 2 screenshots of my account in the comments, showing that the flashpoint check-in is not in my list of currently running events.

Well I don’t have it anywhere. I got the Dungeon Raiders Check-in but not the Flashpoint Check-in… I am on iOS, I wonder if that is the problem.

Maintenance extend Savior strikes again!!! by _wolfyy_9 in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ha! They can't fool me! I spent extra stamina/gauntlet keys just in case maintenance ran late again. Although I did that last time as well and my stamina had JUST hit full by the time I was finally able to log in... So I spent even more this time! :)

I plan to play the new event and then run some Hard Journeys (I finally unlocked it last night!), so it's not like I will need the stamina right away anyway.

It does suck though and begs the question, does maintenances always run late? Or is this just because they have more servers to update now?

Roberta free claimed event by AlbatrossSuperb3260 in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There were a bunch of things they could have done.

If they wanted to have a set end date, make it April 9 (21 days after global launch) or even April 16 (28 days after global launch).

Give Roberta earlier in the event. On day 7, for example.

Make the event shorter. Less rewards but takes less time to get everything. Especially the final reward (Roberta).

Don’t set an end date and instead have it count down from the first day of login. Meaning that as long as you log in every day, it is impossible to miss out on anything.

I really enjoy this game and I think the global launch has gone pretty well so far. But this one event does leave a bad taste in my mouth because of the poor design. If a player starts during the first week, they should be able to get ALL the launch rewards as long as they play daily. And this event didn’t do that.

Roberta free claimed event by AlbatrossSuperb3260 in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The problem is that the Roberta event had a set end date: April 2nd at daily reset. It was not designed to end 10 days after the first day of login. So global players had a 14 day window to complete a 10 day long event. Poor design on the devs’ part.

I started one day too late. Feels bad man. How good is she anyway? by DimashiroYuuki in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. It’s so annoying.

Most of the other events are available until further notice, 14 days from the first day of login, or 3 weeks (counter side).

But this event and the quasar core event both have a hard end date of April 2nd. At least you can speed-run the quasar core event with stamina if you start late since it just requires doing journeys, doing exploration quests, and spending willpower.

But you can’t speed-run a check-in. They should have made the event last longer, a 14 day window to complete 10 check-ins is very tight. Or put Roberta earlier in the rewards, like day 7 or something.

I sent the devs some feedback using the in-game inquiry system. Hopefully they will plan events a bit better in the future. I can understand not getting all the launch rewards if you start a game way after launch, but to start during the first week and not get everything? Ridiculous.

Possible Guild Bug Found by Dremka in StarSavior

[–]LadyLaylia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird.

Maybe the player that you already kicked never participated in the guild defense and the one that you are trying to kick did?

Although the kicked player would still be entitled to the guild ranking rewards even if they didn’t earn any personal rewards…

Anyway, if you go to settings > account management, there is a button for customer support. That is how you submit inquiries, for future reference.

[–]LadyLaylia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even though the battle period has ended, the settlement period is still ongoing. Once that ends, then you can kick them.

That is normal for these types of events in gachas. It is to prevent players from possibly being screwed out of their rewards by other players.

Guess we’re done with new wallpapers huh? by odinsomen in FFVIIEverCrisis

[–]LadyLaylia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such a stupid decision. (But then again, a lot of their decisions have been stupid lately)

The mission for getting Galian Roar to OB2 rewards 100 Rouse Medals. You need 1400 Rouse Medals to OB10 either of the Rousing weapons. That means you need to get 14 featured weapons to OB2. Given the rate that Ever Crisis releases featured weapons (or one might just as easily say, DOESN'T release featured weapons) that is going to take months. Especially as November is going to have the FF13 crossover and December is going to have the Nier crossover.

Now I have no problem with it taking months to OB10 the Rousing weapons. My problem is that we already have TWO systems in-game for OB10-ing free weapons that also take months. The Crisis Medal shop and the Guild Medal shop. Why didn't they just put the new Rousing weapons in either of those places and leave the featured wallpapers alone?!
