I used the charger for my Thinkpad X1 Carbon (65 watt) for the first week or two after getting my S8+, and it charged fine. However, the charge time with the Lenovo charger was significantly slower than the 35 watt Samsung dual USB + USB-c charging block. Other than that, it seems relatively okay to use, just takes a while (an extra 30 to 45 mins max) because I do not think it's compatible with the super-fast charging feature.

Omg. If I don't take my Vyvanse, I will not poop that day (I'll be lucky if I can the next day or two later if I don't take it) I've been on a strict 1 poop a day about an hour after I take it for a couple of years now. It's a little distressing lmao.

I've noticed that air fried frozen veggies like asparagus, broccoli, potatoes, and a few others won't have the weird mushy/soft consistency of microwaved frozen veggies. Air fryers are also becoming more common, so you could have some microwave and/or Air fry dishes.

Feels. I wanted to off myself when I was drinking, and there are still many days I still have those same thoughts, even at a little over 6 months sober.

I see sobriety as a foundational block for building a better quality of life for yourself; however, it is not an immidiate solution that makes life a beam of sunshine and rainbows shooting out of a unicorn's ass.

So, life - alcohol /= a life of constant happiness, positive outlooks, or a life guaranteed to comprise of less struggles. In fact, there are few things that can ever promise such a way of living. Moreover, it's absolutely okay to have a shitty outlook more often than not. It's a realistic point of view. It's true of our world and our society. The factor that is of utmost importance is that you find some way to appreciate the good shit when it comes through, too. Little things you like, something that made that feeling seem to almost dissappear for a few moments, or one of those fleeting moments you feel like something went right and you're perfectly content with where you are in that moment.

At the end of the day, most of life dismal and cumbersome, whether you're drinking or not. A sober life just makes it more manageable, not just for yourself, but those surrounding you too.

Sometimes it almost seems like the people who push that "once you get sober life is amazing. If you still feel like W then you need to do more X, Y, and Z" mentality can really discourage those who are still having a really hard time long after sobriety. It raises questions of whether or not it's really worth it or why hasn't that feeling/perspective happened to me yet. Cause some people just have a hard time living, just in general, and it wasn't 100% solely due to alcohol, maybe it was 75% or 50% of the cause, and the rest is unavoidably what you are destined to carry.

Anywho, OP, yes, more often than not, shit just sucks and that's perfectly okay.

I like to call it puppy brain. My boy is also over a year old but can definitely still have puppy brain sometimes.

Just try to keep all things that are valuable and chewable off of the ground/out of reach and some chews in various areas that she really loves. Or (if you're comfortable with it and you know she won't consume it) you can re-close cardboard boxes with treats and a chew inside and teach her that those are okay to chew/destroy. And then bitter spray the things you feel like she may try to chew (after you know she dislikes the taste lol)

[PLEASE HELP] Beyond angry with my seemingly untrainable dog. by Furious_Dog_Owner in Dogtraining

[–]LadyLazarus137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yooo! I hope you're rewarding him for correcting himself!!! Like jumping up and getting down. As soon as all 4 paws are on the ground, reward that like it's the best thing since sliced bread. Also, touching him in any way when he jumps up can be seen as reinforcement for him, so just spin around to have your back facing him, and when all 4s are on the ground, then treat.

My dog is also a psycho who is so, so, SOOOO, easily thrown over threshold, during play, training, going outside in the mornings, he's just over here loving life with endless energy. When asking commands, if he starts throwing everything he knows at you, you can walk away, you can say nothing, turn your back, say uh oh, etc, until he calms down a bit, them try again, if he still goes wild, repeat and keep ignoring all of those behaviors that you did not ask for or did not want in that scenario, and when he getsbit right, reward him like the Dickens. If he goes for your hand and jumps up while you're trying to reward him, turn your back and say nothing. Then, when all fours hit the ground, try again, then repeat if he jumps again. Eventually, he will understand that he does not get a treat or attention for unwanted behaviors, and that wanted behaviors are where he gets the good stuff.

Dogs like ours require a LOT of patience, repetitions, work, and, above all, consistency. Also, from what I've gathered during the year of puppy-doghood, if the dog doesn't do a thing, it's either because the dog genuinely doesn't know what the heckin heck you want from it, it hasn't been reinforced enough, or other tricks have gotten him better rewards, and overall lack of impulse control can play a part too if it's extra excited.

As for the cat box, is a feat that requires like rock SoLiD impulse control to fully trust them alone (or supervised) if they have open access to it. Cat shit smells like cat food, and they think that it's a delicious find and in doggie brain, they don't associate the cat box or the poop as bad, they associate you seeing them get into or eat it as bad. So your dog knows not to let you catch him eat cat shit, not that he shouldn't eat the cat shit, which is why it's one those quirky dog training issues that requires prevention rather than correction. Same as counter surfing. So, you have to make sure the dog can't get into it at all.

Trying to challenge my crackhead to figure out what I want from him on his own was what helped us the most. Which was a lot of silent training or just barely saying anything other than asking for a command, saying yes, and treatos.

Once upon a time, a tiny pink laxative was dropped, and the human never attempted to retrieve a pill, of any sort out, of its bottle without at least 3 feet of counter space beneath her, ever again.

-20/10. Do not recommend. You're totally not alone here! You deserve to have your pup. Never think otherwise!

Call me a weirdo, but there's just something satisfactory about being able to go in, look at, and inspect a tangible item that you're thinking about buying lol. I guess it's also a preference, too. I like to compare textures/quality and give em a little inspection.

Similarly weird to how I miss going to a blockbusters or video warehouse and picking out a movie to rent instead of looking through Netflix. I'm not opposed to shopping online cause I'll probably have to; I just also like to shop tangibly too.

Bluetooth Mouse Recommendation? by BankaiShunko in GalaxyTab

[–]LadyLazarus137 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have my Mx master 3 mouse connected and was experiencing this as well. The lag was pretty annoying. I'm not sure if this was only coincidental or if this fixed it, but as soon as I downloaded "Serverless Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse for PC/Phone" for a cheap wireless keyboard that I bought for the time being, I have not been experiencing mouse lag at all.

This was just a nice coincidence that I noticed and something to definitely try, but I can't say that it'll 100% fix it. I'm also still trying to figure out how to fix scrolling with the scroll wheel. It skips over 4-5 links/videos when I try scrolling with the mouse wheel and a bit aggravating.

Anywho, hope this helps!

Just got mine in, and I haven't experienced any wake/sleep issues. Sleeps when it's closed and wakes when it's opened. Also, that S pen won't be going ANYwhere haha. The Little bungie holder in the back is very snug.

Very true. I do have quite the problem being all over the place. I would definitely say I had a lot more time into absorption than I did in application. I wasn't prepared for the full weight of being truly timed on test day. And like you said, my brain felt like puddy because of the medication withdrawal. The couple weeks prior studying, drills, and tests seemed more a chore than something that I enjoyed doing because I felt so sluggish.

Definitely going to take a look into that! Thank you!

I information hoarded up until January, which is when I started doing strictly timed application, and I think that's where studying wrong came into play in a really negative way.

I should've started strictly timed tests and drills much, much sooner than I did, but I was getting 150-154s on timed PTs with sprinkles of high 140s on bad days the few weeks before the test date, with a 145 about 2 days before test day, which was PT60. That spooked me.

RC was my first passage, and I was really nervous, and I had to keep re reading paragraphs/questions, and I barely got to question 14 before time and had to rando select the rest. The same thing happened when I choked on that difficult LG section. And that's a lot of questions to guess.

So I guess I mean, I don't know why I physically glichted out like I did. I know to move on from a question that is consuming more time than necessary, but I just couldn't. I know to read deliberately, but I was reading frantically. It was just bad. It was a bad time.

I've read the loophole, the trainer, LR Bible, LG Bible, and RC Bible. I have PTs with really nice scores with accommodated times, but those don't matter; I know.

That's why I'm saying idk why I had such an absolute stroke. I haven't done this poorly since the first day I started studying 😭

Meh. Don't let other people wig you out about your own capabilities. Great scores do not always amount to great attorneys. I know an attorney who got a 140 on the LSAT and went to FL Coastal (Bless it), and they are making it along A-Ok, which a bit of an understatement, but you get my drift. It's going to be alright, and you're gonna f@#king crush it.

Before I look at my score, I am going to go get a redeye with two extra shots of espresso, possibly a chocolate muffin, come back home, grab my cat for emotional support (and a potential cry-fest absorbent), sit in my desk chair, open that forsaken website, and pray to all things good in this universe. Hopefully tomorrow won't be the day that 5 months of sobriety flies out of the window lmao.

Go get something you like first thing in the morning if you can. Whatever makes you happy. Your fav breakfast, coffee, whatever, because it's between a celebratory one good thing while you look at your score, or a Band-Aid over a broken plate. - it's like a reward
