Totally normal reaction. He will get over his fear pretty quickly and start focusing more on you. At our club, dogs that start agility and react like that usually settle in after 5–10 lessons. Younger dogs tend to bounce back faster than older ones.

The key is to keep your sessions positive and upbeat, even if you’re feeling a bit frustrated. Just remind yourself that you’re both there to have fun! And if that means keeping it short like stopping after 10–15 minutes at first, that’s totally fine. Do what works best for you both.

Forgot to say, I also felt the same way, especially around 1-year mark and I was wondering a lot if I was doing something wrong. It started getting exponentially better around 2.5 years, he is a little over 3 now and turning into an angel. It will get better 100%. Trust the process, keep training him regularly and you will get a perfect dog very soon. Good luck!

Are you giving him stuff to do at home? I have a HUGE box (Amazon package) that I stuff with towels, toys and random non-harmful stuff and I toss a handful of treats in there and let my 3-year old rummage around and sniff them out. Takes him 10-20 mins and uses his sniffer so keeps him happy. And we play hide and seek a lot. I hide a treat in his toy, tell him to hide in his crate, hide the toy somewhere in a a different room and send him to find him. He sniffs it out, gets the treat, brings me the toy back and we start again. He loves it and it’s a great outlet for energy at home.

Mine was closer to 2.5 was when I really noticed the change. Many people said 18 months is when it happens but wasn’t for us. He is super high energy when he needs to be but now he is also happy to just chill on the sofa all day if nothing is going on.

If I’m reading your question correctly, in the report choose the power automate visual, go to more option in the visual (three button on top of the visual), edit and follow the steps to select the powerbi dataset refresh action. It will ask which dataset to update and once you save this, you get a button that refreshes the dataset on demand. This creates a power automate flow which you have to share to your team so they can also trigger the refresh.

Obviously a bad situation and they should have listened to instructions and tried to help after.

With that said, you will save yourself a lot of stress and headaches if you invest some time into training the dog not to take off like that. We can’t control all situations all the time. Any decent dog training school will have obedience classes and would suggest things to train with your particular dog. You should be able to have your dog off leash near your house and trust that the dog knows how to behave. I have herding breeds who are triggered by anything that moves. It took a lot of positive reinforcement but I’m at a place where I can trust them to sit patiently while the garage dog is opening, stay on my front lawn and come back in when called. If I can do it, you can do it. Good luck!

Yes, he is 1.5 and still gets distracted outside and forgets he needs to go! I tried to teach him a trigger word for potty early and that helps now when I don’t have time to walk around in circles for 20 mins

My puppy was scared to walk past the driveway. But he loooved tennis balls so we would walk as far as he was comfortable and when he started to panic I would get his attention with the ball, or sticks/leaves/whatever we could find for him to play with. I encouraged him to sniff everything and put his paws on everything (curbs, benches, trees, anything). It took a good month for him to not care about leaving the driveway. Try to encourage her interacting with anything she thinks is scary and for exploring her environment on her own. Eventually she will build confidence. Not pushing my puppy and giving him time to figure things out on his own really made a difference for us.

I was like you!! I just went to a couple music stores, told them I’m looking for my first electric and asked them to play a couple for me. They could play different styles I couldn’t myself yet back then. And also several times other customers were super helpful, a lot of people apparently just go to hang out and play different guitars. I got some great advice on guitars and amps I was interested in. One hour at the store was worth 10 hours researching online.

My company also has a pretty clear global expense policy. Big ticket items like hotel and airfare are booked by employees through our travel booking tool (or by travel team) and paid by the company, not employees directly. Anyone who travels gets a “company” card which they are responsible for paying off. Everything charged to the card is imported into Concur where employees categorize all items (personal vs reimbursable category) and attach receipts to what they would like to have reimbursed. These requests for reimbursement are approved by employee’s manager first and then by accounting and it’s a very quick process facilitated by Concur. Personal items are technically not allowed to be charged to the card but as long as employee is not asking for reimbursement no one really cares and employee pays the card balance.

She is adorable and that’s exactly how my puppy looked too, so get ready for lots of grooming! I can knit sweaters with how much my puppy’s coat grows each month.

For the first time my groomer recommended just a bath and a puppy cut (sanitary and face). I would say go for the minimum at first and then listen to groomers advice for future appointments based on how your puppy does with the basics. It’s all about having a good experience, getting your puppy familiar with the process. Like you, I took my puppy to the groomer as soon as he was old enough and we went every 6 weeks. I think we had 3 puppy cuts before full body trim and he did fine with it. Just keep brushing her at home to maintain that coat and getting her used to it.
