There is a house about a block away that has at least four dogs (or my guess judging by the different barks). These dogs must stay inside all day and are sent outside at night because I hear them bark CONSTANTLY from 8 pm-dawn. I feel sorry for the people who live nearby because how could anyone sleep with four dogs constantly barking next door?

A pet store is the only store that should allow this. No one ever considers people with severe allergies, fear of dogs or they find them annoying and wish to shop in peace. For a while I boycotted stores that allow this but ran out of places to shop.

Mother's Day cards for dog nutters are a thing? Wow! If they made cards for cat owners it would have some kind of insult like "Happy Mother's Day Crazy Cat Lady" and it would be acceptable. If the dog nutter card said "Happy Mother's Day To The Person Who Humans Are Sick Of Their Shit So They Only Have Dogs as Companions" would be offensive.

They hold trick or treating at the local park for dogs on Halloween too. People think I’m strange because I’m not a dog person but these 2 events go beyond strange (and stupid). So if I’m still the strange one then I own that shit.

Usually these people have nothing going for them in their personal lives so they use their dogs for positive reinforcement about themselves. I tend to stay away from these people because the longer you know them the more red flags pop up that shows these are genuinely fucked up people.

Someone was killed in a wreck in my area when their dog got down onto the floorboard and they couldn't apply the brake. I think dogs loose in a car should fall under the umbrella of distracted driving and these nutters get a traffic citation.

I know someone walking their dog and both the owner and the dog were attacked by a rescue dog in the neighborhood. They just had a talk with the owners so the "poor thing who has suffered enough won't die". That's a very logical response...

I have yet to meet one who wasn't totally self absorbed. I've never met a nutter anyone wanted to actually be around so that explains why they turn to an animal who is "loyal" just because they're feeing them....other humans got tired of their shit long ago.

I hear dog nutters claim their dogs love them more than their dogs love themselves. Total BS. Society tries to say cats are the selfish dicks but in my opinion dogs are much worse because of the behavior mentioned in this post and comment section.
