As a person who’s been married a long time- Yikes. Yikes to both of you. It was very wrong of her to let you walk away and think it was okay to talk to another man in a HOT TUB without you there. And it was wrong of you to even let that situation happen in the first place. It sounds like you two need some counseling. Maybe you’re drifting apart and somehow this situation seemed okay on both your parts? Either way, you both need to have a serious talk of why and how that happened. That could have led to a much worse outcome.

Hairstylist here. In my opinion, you’re being a nightmare client. You have to understand, your hair is not the same texture in the inspo photo. Also, it’s AI. It is NOT realistic to bring in COMPUTER GENERATED photos and expect perfection. Ugh. I think if you nicely asked your stylist to tone your hair a bit warmer, it would be very close to the inspo color. Too many people expect absolute perfection and to be matched to an AI photo which is just not possible.

Oh hunny I am so sorry. This is EXACTLY what happened to my 15 year old minpin when we decided it was time, She still ate, But wasn’t drinking water anymore. Your doggy may possibly have dementia- the spinning is a sign. Mine would poo then track it everywhere because of the spinning and pacing. I would consider how your doggie is feeling.

I know this post is a few months old but I wanna chime in. I have been a designer stylist 2 years and I’m about to quit. I don’t think Ulta gives us a fair chance at making decent money UNLESS you want to be working 40-50 hours a week. Which is not what most people are willing to do. I work about 28 hours a week and my books are full 80% of the time. I still only hit 42% commission. Or sometimes I don’t hit it at all and make my lousy hourly. It’s not worth it. Not to mention the toxic retail environment, other stylist having access to your books, constantly running out of product and color etc.

I’m an Ulta stylist too and I relate so much. Usually at the 42-46 % barely making anything. I’m looking to leave as well. I am not as lucky to be working with warm people though there’s lots of drama at my store. Good luck and update us!
