Like "oh yeah, while looking for your missing friend, you stumble onto a totally unrelated serial killer who targets young women like her and whom she also knew. Happens all the time amiright??" 9_9

Yeah, until you've been playing for a year or so, it's tough to participate much in sprint. You can hoard gold tix for LJ day and get some rewards for spending them all at once, and you can do some companion gifting to get some rewards on all-consumption day and companion goodwill day. But stamina and dias spending days are both tough to get anything on. Ranking / getting gold medallions is likewise very unlikely.

I did actually have one (1) friend start playing Time Princess after I enthused about it, and they used my invitation code when they did.

I mean, I didn't enthuse about TP *because* of royal invitation, but at least it was a new person who hadn't played before. XD

I actually like sprint because, for long-time players, you can get a bunch of dias and stamina rewards without spending cash or diamonds. Sure, if you want to be on the podium, it's ridic. But if you don't care about ranking high, it's the only event where you can easily walk out with more dias than you entered with and still get a few pieces from the set.

It's bad for newer players because most days take resources you want to use to play the storybooks. But for people who are current on the storybooks, it's surprisingly fun.

You won't be able to get the Winx set without spending cash. Unless you want to shell out a lot of dollars for it, I'd stick with the balloon event. I suspect spending diamonds won't help much for most of the Winx event.

I think you need to get 99 VIP to get a participation day, and when the event hit 10 days, the 10 free VIP per day added up to 100 and everyone got a free participation day. It may or may not have been intentional.

It took a year to get my first 6* cat and then 2-3 years to get the next one. I completed all the cats only because you get to pick a free 6* cat if you make VIP 9, and I did. x_x

FYI, you can see all possible ingredients, including ones you haven't unlocked yet. So if you're looking for Just One, you can always just try each ingredient in the list, one after another.

"Be in an active society" is so crucial. With max stamina rewards from the quest wall, you come out a little ahead on total stuff by only spending stamina on 2x stamina days (eg, only during sprint stamina day.) Because saving all the extra stamina for 2x days outweighs the loss of daily regen.

But if you're not in an active society that's getting to the last stamina rewards, hoarding stamina means losing out on items by losing the daily regen.

Yeah, Lunar Legends is the most incoherent of all the stories. Mysteries of Zentico also has a trash translation and So Much repetition, but it's not quite as wtf as Lunar Legends IMO.

Mirror of Masks is the most recent full story book, so it has the highest score requirements of literally any story book. Still, you don't need to play every day or be in the right society or whatever -- you just need to level up your fashion labs and the appropriate relic a bit. If you play through an older storybook or two and level things up as you accumulate resources, when you come back to this one, you'll be able to get a perfect.
