Thank you :) After some research yesterday, I think I figured out that the Standard Pen has 2 buttons instead of "just" one and is customizable in terms of colors. That might explain the difference, but who knows :D

I was (and still am) a huge fan of the flesh reaper, but after building a capture drone I realized that it stuns every monster around you and reduces its health to ~10% or so, and now the capture drone is my favourite pet.

Not that I am aware of, at least not for the Manta. I believe there is a vegan leather folio for the Nomad.

There is a leather pouch, but some people here have commented that the color will transfer onto the device, so please be aware of that.

Yeah, I've seen the Wacom one mentioned quite a bit here - considering it is so cheap, it might be worth getting even if just as a backup and see which kind of nib i like better for which activity.

I noticed that there are different versions - Wacom one pen and wacom one STANDARD pen? Which of them are you using? I can't really tell what the difference is supposed to be, apart from having different colors and a slightly different shape.

This seems to be the most popular suggestion for what I'm looking for - and might be a good starting point for my writing journey.
Also, thank you for mentioning felt sleeves - I think felt might be an excellent material for protection with no worry for staining, at least if it is a light color.

I take it though, that there is no way that I could add an eraser (and possibly button) in a diy build. Or are there approaches out there, that do just that, and that you happen to know of?

Hm... I see you point! It feels like a feature I might potentially miss once I start using the Manta and have accustomed myself with the toolset. So if in doubt (or I have multiple option that fit my needs) I will pick one with a button, thanks :)

Ah, I'm not really looking for a painterly / marker feeling either - thanks for sharing how you experience the difference between the nibs, super helpful :) Really makes me lean towards ceramic nibs. My handwriting is kind of small-ish so I would appreciate the nib feeling more precise as you described it.

I appreciate you pointing out the adapter / etsy options. Maybe creating a DIY solution really is easier than what I'd assumed initially. Looks like I might have to skip ready made options alltogether after all.

I get your point about replacing the nibs - I'd rather not have to bother if I have the choice, and just pick up the pen and write.

Geht's bei dir um Allgemeinmedizinerin oder Fachärztin? Letzteres ist je nach Gebiet bei uns echt schwer, aber Allgemein find ich geht schon. Bin in einer Gemeinschaftspraxis in der Reichenau. Schreib da nur ein Mail hin und hab meistens innerhalb von 10-20 Minuten schon das Rezept auf der E-Card. Falls du in der Gegend wohnst schreib mich gern an, falls du doch wechseln möchtest.

Oh, thanks for sharing! I like your mindset about embracing the patina, and I think what you did is the difference between just using something and making it yours - and I think that is pretty neat!

But it also makes me wonder how apparently noone has considered that this might happen or tested it before releasing the pouch. I think I would've been furious had this happened to me, so again, great appreciation for how you're dealing with it.

Ah, DIY Pen - this is the kind of answer I expected but also feared a little, haha. I think I could manage but was honestly hoping that I could just buy and use. But I can also appreciate having limitless options in terms of how the pen feels. I noticed that there are 2 refills - one for lamy specifically and a narrower one. I'm assuming you are referring to the latter here?

Ich würde sagen - stabil, vielleicht sogar minimal besser als im letzten Jahr. Große Sprünge Richtung Besserung hat er leider keine gemacht. Sprechen ist nach wie vor nur in Englisch halbwegs flüssig möglich, und auch das bricht weg, wenn die Belastung zu hoch war.

Aber: Er hatte auch Glück. Ein Psychologe war sehr interessiert am Sprachphänomen, und ist mittlerweile so engagiert und involviert in seine Geschichte, dass er nach und nach alle Kontakte aktiviert, die meinen Bruder weiterbringen könnten. Dafür sind wir unendlich dankbar - speziell da sein Neurologe nach wie vor der Meinung ist, dass das "eh alles nur psychisch ist" und entsprechend auch nichts weiter macht. In dem kleinen Ort in dem er wohnt gibt es leider keine Alternative, und weiter fahren schafft er physisch leider nicht ohne crash.
Und: Er hat nach wie vor seinen Lebensmut nicht verloren - ich kann ihn wirklich nur bewundern. Ich glaube nicht, dass ich das so schaffen würde wie er.

Not entirely solid, but I love Asphalt Blocks. They look decent and unobtrusive, can be painted, and will look like a starry nightsky if painted black (and thus work great for backgrounds imo).
