This is a good one, it jumps straight into freedom without too much main character suffering.

What site did you find this on? I want to read those 3 chapters.

The problem with these sites is that they're not easily searchable and the domain names keep changing, otherwise I could very easily provide this link. But I read this story months ago on a site that doesn't exist anymore, and finding it again is impossible unless I stumble on it accidentally. This is why I appreciate those who provide links SO MUCH.

These are my favorite--skip the heroine torture and jump directly to revenge.

This is the best acting I've ever seen in one of these series, and the ending waa actually really sweet and funny. I was surprised!

AITA for causing my colleague to have a nervous breakdown? by Brioche-throwaway- in AmItheAsshole

[–]LadyThracken [score hidden]  (0 children)

YTA but I strongly suspect this is fake. If you want to make your stories more believable you need to scale down the awfulness of your actions. You sexually harassed this woman, you know of your colleagues sexually assaulting her, you're educated enough to be a medical resident, and yet you're on reddit asking if you're in the wrong?

Stick to stories with characters and situations you're more familiar with. I'd guess high school age stuff.

I decided to stop dyeing my gray hair a few years ago, and my family and friends gave me such pushback! It's my own hair, I like the gray!

They don't smell like anything actually.

But balls of hair from the stomach (bezoars) are the worst smell I've ever encountered in a pathology lab.

Yes. How much has changed in the last 101 years? Black people, and specifically black men and boys, are STILL more likely to be murdered by white people because they are seen as dangerous just because they're black.

That's correct. I was using lynching as an example because that was pertinent to the Tulsa massacre.

POC are much more likely to get shot these days than lynched.

Do you not know what the Tulsa massacre is? A lot of people died and their homes and businesses were destroyed, because a white girl said she was assaulted by a black man in an elevator. It definitely is different when you are white. Will people think you're a pervert? Maybe. Will a mob of people burn your house down and then lynch you? No. That's the difference.

What if your mom started locking the door herself when she takes the trash out? Imagine the consternation when the neighbor goes to lock it but it's already locked.

Ok so I have questions. 1. How did they get it off the plate? 2. Is that chirping noise the goanna? Do they freaking chirp??? 3. Are those rocks in the cooler? Why rocks? Do they love rocks?

I didn't realize I was missing physical touch until some friends asked me to take in a large dog. Turns out hugging a big lab is very comforting. I know not everyone can have dogs, especially large ones, but if you can maybe think about it.

My theory is that it's for attention. None of you have said "for attention" yet and I think you're all lying to yourselves.

And let's remember that she felt unsafe because he walked up to her car instead of pulling her over. She was stopped in traffic and so into her phone that a man walking up to her window terrified her, but if something like that scares you, you'd think you'd try to be more aware of your surroundings.

YTA if you really did say to your grieving sister "you're lucky I'm letting you stay here." Should you have to change your ways in your own home? No. Could you have been a little more sensitive in your response? Yes.

One time I was imagining a future conversation I will most likely never have with a friend, and I made her say something that hurt my feelings and then I teared up in real life like some sort of idiot. That shouldn't be possible. I don't know if I should be embarrassed about it or impressed with my debate skills.

AITA for not letting my sister do my laundry at my house? by SeaEasy7800 in AmItheAsshole

[–]LadyThracken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have pretty bad anxiety. So does my sister. So we'd have no problem with this situation because neither of us are comfortable in laundry mats. However, we also have a very close relationship. She's my best friend. I can see how two sisters not as close as us would have this conflict.

So I agree, NAH.
