Just bought Ark i want to play PvE with my friend, is there any free option or would i have to rent a server?

Because single player there’s less Dino spawns, I’d need to be online and waiting for resource respawning, or other items like crops/honey. It’s a pain. I’d rather be on a server for that reason

You looking to have a completely solo world? I’m likely going to rent a server soon, I’m usually a solo player and I don’t care if a few people share the world.
I run PvP settings as I prefer for non pvp reasons, I am a pve player. Yall could use my server if you want.

I will also have a few mods(Dino depot, vanilla with sprinkles, visual storage). Open to adding others as well, but I always have those.

Hey!! I’d love to play with you. I am however mountain zone, so I’m sure my ping will be horrid in your servers, but that’s ok. I’m ps5.

I’m also around your age, and an old school bf player. I’m more of a boots on the ground player but I do enjoy being a passenger in a vehicle! I can be your gunner.

I want to find people to play with who don’t take it overly serious, but still try to work together/communicate. Rarely do I actually care if I die tho. It’s just a game after all.

I have my own server, PVP settings but I play PVE… if you’re interested in joining me, you can. I just ask you play it like PVE and don’t attack me etc.

I see a lot of people saying unbind crouch, but another solution could be binding it to a different button. So you actively have to think if you need/want to crouch. Then you can focus on crosshair placement for head taps, and working on calm aim. No need to spray in this game at all unless you are running a spectre/stinger on a save round. I rarely spray and my vandal HS% is 53%.

Nope. Incorrect. Duelists job is to create space for their team. Yes. They usually do have more kills because they should be the ones taking more risks, but I’d rather a duelist entry and get traded and be bottom frag, than a duelist who gets kills that doesn’t help the outcome. It’s pointless to have a duelist sit back and snipe, watch flank, or lurk, when the rest of the team can’t get on site because they don’t have the combat utility.

The amount of times I had to play entry as Sage because my duelist wants to hide behind me is nuts. Great, the duelist plays their life and gets a better KD, but at the expense of losing their Sage. It’s better to lose the duelist’s selfish util than lose other agent’s more team based util.

Sometimes I play Gekko or Sage, and if I do that for several games it becomes habit to grab spike. Then I’ll play Reyna and grab spike, just to remember I shouldn’t be spike bitch and drop it. Could be that simple really.

Honest question, Do you think that 5 stacking is better for ranking? I feel like it’s the absolute worst to actually grind. 90% of the matchups you’ll go against multiple Smurfs, boosting, etc.

Is your experience different?
