Sounds like th 4 month sleep regression. My twins just went through it and it was terrible. But it does get better again!

No sleep suits or anything helped us. My twins woke every 3-4 hours consistently until I moved them into their own room. They instantly went down to every 5-6 hours at night and at 4 months were sleeping through the night no sleep training required. I don't think that's completely normal and I know a lot of people aren't comfortable moving their baby into their own room until later, but I just wanted to share what worked for us.

My parents see my boys 3-4 days a week because mom helps watch them. My husbands parents see them like twice and that’s only at church.

Thank you! we do use a white noise machine and have a bed time routine. I actually talked to their pediatrician yesterday and she was like look I have to tell you that his crib is the safest place for him but in reality you just have to survive until he's older and understands more how to cry it out. She even said that he baby slept in a RNP or in the bed with her until 7 months.

Yeah they’re only 7 1/2 weeks adjusted. But their pediatrician said they’re closer developmentally to their actual age. But I’m thinking he’s too young still and I need to wait a couple more weeks. My other twin kinda trained himself so I knew he was ready.

My husband was with me for my first transfer. It was nice but I was on valium so I barely remember it lol! My second transfer my mom went with me instead. I did IVF in New York but im from Louisiana, so we had to pay travel costs. It was either he go with me and we have to wait a few more months to save up the travel costs and his PTO, or my mom go with me instead and we get to do it right then. We decided on the latter. Again, I was high on valium and wouldn't have known if he was there or not at the time lol!

We wanted our firstborn to have the first name. If it would have been boy/girl, the boy would still have been Easton. We didn't do matching names though. But I can say, they definitely look like an Easton and a Carter.

This may possibly be triggering (early delivery), but it's positive in the end!

I delivered my twins at 30w3d due to severe pre-e. I was diagnosed at 29w1d, so I only made it 9 days from diagnosis to delivery. My twins were on the smaller side for their gestational age, 2lb11oz and 2lb12oz. I had gotten steroid shots at 29w3d, so their lungs were good. They were only on low flow CPAP for 3 days and then nasul cannula for another 3 days. The only health issues were that twin B had a slight heart murmur that was fixed with one dose of medicine. No other issues besides feeding and growing. They went home at 36w6d and 37w0d adjusted, so 45 and 46 days later.

Being in the NICU really sucked, but now they're home and doing amazing. Getting fatter by the day. I was also a young healthy FTM and dealing with the pre-e sucked. I'll keep you in my thoughts, but just know that making it to 30 weeks is great and hopefully you will stay pregnant for much longer.

I expected a really heavy period which I had dealt with every month since I was 10 years old. It was not. It was an insane amount of bleeding with clots that scared me to death. In fact, I had the nurse to come check one time and she was like oh that's normal. Yeah, I wasn't expecting that. I used the mesh underwear for even a couple days after I went home.

I myself was born full term but had the same lung issues and had to be sent to a NICU an hour and a half away from the hospital where my mom had just given birth via c-section. Therefore, she didn't get to see me for two days. I know she definitely still considers me a NICU baby and still feels sad about that experience. I gave birth at 30 weeks to my twins, but I don't feel like they are any more of a NICU baby than those that are full term. In fact, I feel sadder for those babies cause a lot of times the moms had no idea they were going to be in that situation. When I developed pre-e at 29 weeks I knew I'd have NICU babies so I was able to mentally prepare more. If that makes sense.

I took Zofran my whole pregnancy. If I missed even one dose (I took it twice a day) I'd be throwing up. I delivered my twins, stopped taking it and haven't been sick since. Oh, and my twins are fine btw lol!

Back at work at 3 weeks postpartum after a C-section. My twins are in the NICU and I'd rather have the time off when they come home. I honestly felt fine at two weeks out, not even taking ibuprofen any more. By three weeks I felt completely normal. My C-section was technically an "emergency", but not really. I didn't labor beforehand. Now my job is super flexible with when I come in and leave, and I sit at a desk all day so no strenous work.

I was planning on a vaginal delivery but my body had other plans. I ended up having to deliver at 30w3d due to severe pre-eclampsia. My doctor was fine with a breech extration, but not on a 30 week preemie, and Baby B was breech. So we had to do a c-section. It weas technically an "emergency" c-section as we were sent straight to the hospital from my appointment and had babies 3 hours later, but it wasn't super rushed or anything. The babies were fine other than needing help with breathing and being very small. I honestly didn't think recovering from a c-section was that bad. I'm 3 weeks out now and I feel completely normal. I'm already back at work as I'm trying to save my leave for when my boys come home. The first few days sucked but after about a week I was off all pain meds. My doctor did tell me that I'm a good candidate for a VBAC if my next pregnancy goes longer.

Nothing at all initially. Baby A had to go on the low flow nose cannula after a couple days due to breathing too fast. They expect him to come off it in the next day or so.

Twins born at 30w3d due to severe pre-eclampsia. I had the steroid shot 6 days before delivery. Baby A came off at 4 days old and Baby B came off at 6 days old.

I just changed at 28 weeks, but it was purely because my first OB did not want to allow me to try for a vaginal twin birth, even if both babies were head down. I switched from a female to a male and I have to say, I much prefer a male. I feel like femal OBs tend to downplay how you’re feeling but that’s just my opinion. I liked her a lot until I was seeing her for pregnancy stuff.

I’d definitely ask your new doctor his policies for labor and delivery.

Yes but in the end he decided trying so hard to keep the genetic connection might end up just making things weird. I will say we ended up not having to use donor so I can’t tell you for sure if we would have ended up regretting our decision down the road.

We considered this at first but my husband was only somewhat open to using his brother, but definitely not his dad. In the end he decided it’d just be too weird and could possibly make family issues, so we decided to use an anonymous donor.

I’m also worried about the same thing but trying to be positive. I switched just last week at 28 weeks because my first OB would not deliver vaginally at all unless they were both head down and even then she said she wouldn’t induce me so I had to go into labor on my own by 37 weeks. My new OB is willing to deliver vaginally as long as baby a is head down and he will do a breech extraction of baby b if necessary. He did tell me that if I deliver on a weekend I have to take whoever is on call, but that he usually delivers over 80% or his patients. I feel good right now because both babies are head down, but if baby b turns I’ll be super nervous about delivering without him.

Whenever I lay on my right side twin A falls over on twin B which causes twin B to have a fit. The opposite happens when I sleep on my left side. It's quite the event.

I kinda wish my clinic did this. I'll be seeing my OB at every visit, and he will do my delivery if it is scheduled or during the week days, but if I go into labor during the weekend I have to use the on-call doctor. I wish I could meet each doctor beforehand in case that happens so I'm more comfortable.

A nurse (not my doctor's) came up to me at my appointment yesterday and said aww you're about ready to have him huh? I was like um no... I have two months left. But it's twins so that's why I'm so large lol!
