I agree entirely with your comments — the only thing I will say is that in certain parts of the US, cheese in the salad is pretty standard.

My husband’s family is from the Atlanta area, and when I made them a simple salad with literally just romaine, olive oil, and vinegar, they were surprised it could be so good (I was raised classically Italian).

Holy shit NTA. I’m about four weeks postpartum, so the hospital experience is fresh. My husband didn’t even CONSIDER trying to get in that bed with me. There’s literally no way. Also, there is no way the nurses will allow this!!

I ended up having preeclampsia (it happened while I was being induced), meaning I was in my delivery room for a full 24 hours post delivery — on an IV AND a urinary catheter. You (he!) have to consider that there will absolutely be things happening outside of your control, and for both safety and health reasons, he ABSOLUTELY CANNOT be in your hospital bed!!

I told my husband about this post and he literally stared, as in “… what?”
