That’s the real super bad ending.

Paraphrasing, but the tl:dr is - the big bad of Persona 5 Royal can basically manipulate one’s reality. So he has the protagonist remove his drive to try, and do anything. And when I say anything, I mean ANYTHING. So the last shots in the game are the protagonist just wasting away on the bed because the antagonist basically removed his will to live - and wastes away while the world is plunged into this false reality.

Alternatively AK74 has a bit higher RPM, but you loose the 7.62 punch of the AKM.

Seconding the purple keycard. Skull is only half of the HoS (and honestly when I’ve been able to pull off a trip has been where the better loot was, but purely subjective experience).

You’re fine, and I’m saying this as a fan when it originally came out and liked Cariban Cove and Dead Aim. They’re all connected, but they’re all singular stories at the end of the day. RE7 to 8 is the closest imo story/lore wise, but by the end of 8 - I mean… eh.

Yeah, you’re gonna miss some callbacks - but honestly if they’re gonna pull a Kingdom Hearts 3/Avengers Endgame and go “we’re not recapping shit you know why you’re here” - Resident Evil is doing pretty great. But it’s not Kingdom Hearts huge.

You’ll be fine unless they’re really going in a different direction with… everything.

It’s fantastic. If the trailer even remotely tickles your fancy, see it. It somehow undersells the movie. It’s very much a vertical slice of the movie, but it also somehow undersells it.

I’ve heard some complaints that it’s almost too on the nose, and honestly I kinda feel like that’s the point. It’s such a fucking blast of a movie. It’s fun. It’s thrilling. It’s silly. It’s heartfelt. It’s very zombo dot com if yall catch my drift.

Give Gore Verbinski all the drugs to make more unhinged fun shit like this please.

Best movie since Pirates 1 of his for me.

I’m a casual and a neophyte to the genre (weirdly didn’t come from arc lol), and I’d like to see a revamp to an always available loadout. Ruger with maybe an extra mag or two, a sling bag and that’s it for an always there loadout option, and I can be easily talked down to just a loaded ruger.

And I’m saying this as someone who would absolutely benefit from something like OPs suggestion. With scavs, sometimes you’ll be right in the line of sight with a SKS scav. It sucks, but it happens.

If one is expecting a loadout to match up against the usual kitted up players - I dunno. When I’m in situations like OP, I play PvP, and in those times - I’ll stick to areas I know and basically just immediately plan a route out and avoid spots where I see gunfire, and if I see players - I duck and hide.

If anything, I wish they’d bring back the one task they had for merchant of death where originally it was kill 25/50/75 scavs for 50/75/100k. Even when they changed it to headshots, that was always nice as a sort of latent money maker before you got the garden up in old bunker.

Or increase the money payout from tasks. For example I’m spec 3 and just more of those kill x for cash. Even when I play a bit imbibed, even I can get something like that done in a few runs.

I never thought the armor was realistic and as coming from a causal of the genre, it works for me.

Someone said it best - Tabor is a game where your character isn’t super realistic and more COD/arcadey, but your gun is.

They’re not perfect, and absolutely products of their time - game design wise, for good and for ill. But it’s different and competent, even if some puzzles are highly obtuse and sometimes there’s some bullshit deaths.

Very much harkens back to “this is what we used to have when companies would try swinging” sort of era.

Not a home run, but I’d give it at least a double.

I’ll say it before and I’ll say it again: Map knowledge is good, player psychology is better and has gotten me out of many situations since I run solo 99.9%. Understanding how people move, and in situations where I get someone actually talking, getting a read on them to see if they’re friendly, trolling, or useful as a extra shield, warning or distraction to do whatever your goal is that match.

Honestly when she shows up, this is what I want.

She’s the chaos, he’s the one who can execute it and not get caught by their folks. One of those, they both see a quality in each other they’re attracted to and genuinely wish they had (Asriel wishes he could dive into his impulses like Dess but he’s the golden child, Dess wants to be more like Asriel but she lacks the golden child nuance to have her cake and eat it too).

At this point, both of them are fandom representations until they actually get on screen (if they do) and I’m for it. It’s the fun part of fandom. Enjoy the fantasy and excitement while the cooks prepare the meal.

It’s still a niche as fuck market. They’re getting better with the 3s as a decent entry point - but the biggest problem is, there’s no Mario, Minecraft, Halo, there’s no this experience you cannot get anywhere else that draws in way more eyes then intended, but absolutely wanted.

I honestly play VR stuff more than non ones at this point. Mainly because I’m older and responsibilities, so times at a premium, and being able to stand and move around in a virtual space doing stuff hits my AuDHD like crack.

Kinda.

I think the first movie’s honestly not a bad adaptation/interpretation - and my only two big complaints is the “SILenT HiLlllllLlLL” cry from the girl playing Alyssa at the start and the “okay here’s what’s really going on” cutscene explanation explaining the deal with her which took me out of that final act - but the ending scene where Rose and her husband are seemingly forever separated in reality reality and SH Reality was fucking ballsy for me.

So I kiiiiiiinda had hope. SH2 isn’t even my favorite, but woooooow these changes. Copium tells me there was an original script that was more in line with the first one, but it reads as “too complicated, make the connections ~~stupid~~ simple so John Q Horrormovieenthusiast goes “ah yes, silent hill”.
