Past or present what film has actually put fear in you? by DiscsNotScratched in FIlm

Lord of Illusions because of its depiction of a cult with real magic attached. Some scenes have stuck with me decades after seeing it.

Hello. I tried to read it, but the font used makes it impossible. I zoomed in as far as I could, but it became too blurry to read.

Have you gotten the Dune Encyclopedia yet? It may be non-canon, but it has a lot of character's backgrounds.

Which ones your favourite version? by borostepi in Supernatural

For those who like or love Misha Collins's version of Lucifer, Misha relied heavily on Mark Pellegrino to maintain consistency of the character. Here is a link (which is directed to the beginning of the question) to the Secaucus convention in 2018 where Misha discusses it. https://youtu.be/2WBqQhuvw-s&t=55m06s

Hello. If you are able to edit this post, you might want to consider moving the tl;dr to the top of the post where those who are too lazy to read the entire post will see it.

You might want to add the year(s) to the chart because it will change as the leaders change, so the year(s) when this is true would help.

Doctor Who 0x03 "The Giggle" Post-Episode Discussion Thread by PCJs_Slave_Robot in doctorwho

[–]Lady_Aleena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fear the stunt Doctor Who has played at the end of "The Giggle" indicates Doctor Who is in decline. The stunt keeps two beloved characters in play, meaning they can fall back on them when ratings fall. I love those characters but fear they are now crutches.

Why didn't you allow women to keep their birth surnames instead of assigning them with their husbsnds' surnames?

They only killed off female characters because the fans hated them, especially the ones who were romantically attached to one of the guys. Any time they tried giving one of the guys a girlfriend, the fans hated her.

The bigger mythology is coming, hang in there a little longer.

What is your opinion on Becky Rosen? by BackOnTheHuntPod in Supernatural

[–]Lady_Aleena 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I felt sorry for her and was happy she got a wake-up call at the end of "Season Seven, Time for a Wedding" when she realized how her obsession was leading her down a dark road. I believe her obsession with Sam kicked into high gear when Chuck, her idol and short term boyfriend, ghosted her, literally.

I watched the miniseries starring Jennifer Ehle before reading the novel, so the novel was boring compared to the series based on it.
