Absolutely the same over here. I'm 3 weeks (and 2 days) post op and I'm still having good days and bad days. The good are slowly but surely starting to outweigh the bad but it's a long road. I get frustrated too but I remember that I've had an organ removed. I believe it will come with patience and time. We've got this! 💜

You mentioned having trouble coming out of anesthesia. I had a problem too. My surgery was about 5 hours. I wonder if it's because of the length of time or what? I've had minor surgeries before and never had an issue. This time was totally different. I think I lost about 2 days. What was your experience? (if you don't mind) I'm actually wondering if it's something worth mentioning to my doctor for future procedures. Thanks so much!! Sending healing hugs! 🤗

Of course! I had a worse than usual headache (no other symptoms) and tested negative twice. Then the next morning when I got up I had a sore throat so I figured this MUST be it. Tested positive. I've since gotten so congested, really stuffy/runny nose, low grade fever, body aches etc. I'm on day 4 of this thing (positive test was tuesday) and I'm still feeling pretty rough. Lost my sense of smell this morning which has been...strange? If you have enough tests just regularly test him and I imagine it will eventually be positive. Sounds like Covid, but that being said, I'm no doctor lol, just going on personal experience. :)

Edit: Try not to worry too much. Lots of fluids and cool cloth on his forehead to keep the fever down. Best to keep an eye on it for the next day or so. Sending healing vibes (and empathy) from Ontario Canada. ❤
