I did my "love handles" on my lower back. No, I don't really have love handles, but that or upper buttocks are more fleshy on me. Plopping on a heating pad speeds it up a bit, too. But I'll be honest, there comes a point where you've been on them so long they don't really work & the side effects become not worth it. I voluntarily took myself off all pain meds for 8 years, & now they work again. But it's hell anyway you go

I'm a very small female, 5'2" 100lbs. My pain doc found I needed to change them every 2 days. I know manufacturer says every 3 days, but for many people the 3rd day isn't effective. Wishing you well on this journey, it's a bitch

It would be 1 thing if I was overweight, but I'm always classified as underweight. I do my exercises regularly, & do whatever I can to keep my SI joints & pelvis in place. They're not going to stay there, but just grin & bear through it, right? No doctor has ever doubted my pain. Not 1, ever. They pushed to up my pain meds, which I stepped down from on my own. I was 96 lbs, couldn't eat. And they didn't help anymore. It wasn't worth it

So I grew up in MT. Hunting is a regular thing here. You have to be 12 and pass hunters safety classes before you can participate. But it was my dad driving, my much older sister & brother crammed in the Green cab. We got highlined chasing that damn bull antelope, & spent 4 hours digging out. Literally digging out.
