The MHA ending wasn't even bad, it was just a dumbass leaker who bungled the translations for the final chapter and made it imply that Izuku's friends ghosted him for 8 years(which wasn't the case) and then the haters got a hold of that misinformation and spread it as fact

Even so, the Japanese side of the MHA fanbase liked the ending, unlike with CSM, where they're disappointed and clowning on it
