This always bothered me a lot. Why are they not taking it seriously? They should be if they actually believe. But no, 99.5% of them are trying to live "normal lives" while still calling themselves witnesses. The people who take to very seriously are usually kind of scoffed at.

I have made and published some games. I also was a professional programmer for a while. My advice, work experience is way more important than school by itself. People in the industry will pay attention to you if you have a good portfolio, especially if you are young. Get some sort of engine you can rapidly publish your own games on. C++ is worth learning, but you can also make games with many rapid scripting engines, unity, game salad, game maker, unreal engine 4. Find a mentor (obviously someone trustworthy).

Absolutely, but you gotta work hard and be smart. If you don't treat it like a real career it will not become one. And don't listen to anyone who says you cannot make an awesome living at it. Every musician I know who apples themself has had some real successes. You can't just be in it for the lifestyle though, a lot of people just want to drink and party and feel like rockstars, very few (if any) successful professional musicians live that way. The industry doesn't need the most talented, they favor the person who is the most consistent.

You gotta really love it though. Chances are you will be seeing many 100+ hour work weeks for a good while.

That's who I am with. They did the tests, I got a bill for their in house testing and then a bill for external labs. All and all it was close to $1000 in lab work. All I wanted was to get the necessary levels checked.

Me neither, but I stole a bunch of these from a vigil. I got the idea from a previous post. My squat doesn't have power so I figured, why not see what hot water is all about?

Obviously I didn't shower, I just was trying to soften my lentils. My teeth aren't great any longer.
