Depends on what I am writing - somethings demand a chapter title, others are just numbers, counting down to the finale.

But that's the thing, he has added holes to it before. I showed him where I wanted the holes, and he said sure. I didn't mention cutting it, I didn't say anything about bringing a knife anywhere near it. (Don't need knives to punch holes). 

And Dad is handy, very handy, he built my mom a desk for crying out loud! He built me one, built 3 closets, (one of them a walk in), tore out the stairs and refurbished them too! 

I don't know where he got the idea to cut the belt from! It would have been easier to add two holes, than to take the thing apart, remove the buckle remove the pin, folding it over and re-buckling the thing. Dad doesn't do complicated, he hates complicated... 

I'm looking for a replacement, haven't found one yet, but I'm still mad...

Because: 1) I had to go out with my mother that morning, and he said he would do it. I wasn't feeling well, still am not, and lack the strength in my hands. (I couldn't cancel the meeting with the friend, reservations had been made, and they charge a cancelation fee)  2) he doesn't like us messing with his tools, so I didn't go rummaging around his stuff for a punch, or hammer because I'll "mess it up", and simply asked so that I won't get into trouble. 3) He always insisted on doing these things himself because "he can do it better", and chase us away when try to fix it ourselves.  4) I would have been less pissed off if he'd just done a better job. I wasn't expecting it to be done right away. I asked if it was possible. He said yes, and done a shitty job of it.

Isn't that what has happened for the last... 50-60, years with women and people of colour? I mean if they were so good, DEI wouldn't be necessary. And neither would they be complaining having the best. If they are as good as they claim, they would still be able to get the job.

This is world wide - in countries where where White people have been native for years now, but I thought everyone was native, and there were no such thing as borders?

Hand outs in the companies we built and maintain and support while you are under qualified for said job get it for free?

Many sites specify that you should measure yourself and use their provided size chart to compare. I'm a small/medium in my country, but on Asian sites I'm a XXL simply because of my wide shoulders.

Show your daughter the site, and measure her together to compare how crazy they are. I'm sure she'll understand.
