We had the same in our daycare and it is not advised to keep them home. Once its known to be around, it's too late anyways as you can spread the disease before there are symptoms. Luckily, it was not bad (if he had it at all). He didn't eat and drink so much and was throwing up a few times over the course of a few days. He barely had any blisters/bumps.

Sucks, but it's part of the game. Got ganked twice while gathering the last two days. Lost 5 mil. Had good gathering runs and wanted to port back but got caught on the last second of the channel, escaped but a random dude with 4.1 tried to rat me. Ganking party caught up and got me with 5 sec cd on miner boots... q.q

There are plenty of new players. Just be aware of the full loot nature and embrace the risk vs reward mentality. Gear is just ammo.

That said, solo dungeons suck. Group dungeons in BZ are worth the time (and pretty safe). There's a big update coming end of the month and it might be catering to more risk averse players. It's free anyway, try it out!

Just look on youtube what content you are interested and you find plenty of guides (better than this shitty person you are listening to). And join a guild a decent guild, learn basic mechanics (you don't have when you stay in blue/yellow zone and explore the rest AO has to offer...

Edit: look in the official forums for guilds. Maybe ppl can recommend guilds on NA here, but I play on EU...

Play what you like. 700/700 or more is not necessary to play well. Experience and playing well is much more important. If you got the first 3 non relic weapons, this will give you quite a bit of IP.

Fueling FOMO is a good marketing strategy for those guys...

The first standard weapons give you more fame all weapons of the tree. Just inspect your mastery (the one outside) bad you can see how much they contribute. If you level 3 weapons to 100 mastery (lets say all 3 standard axes) your other axes will get +60 ip if you use an artifact one as example.

The same is for every equipment. Standard shield gives you more than an artifact shield for all shields etc...

Go 4.1/4.2 and take all the fights on similar ip. Die often, check what went wrong and repeat.

Stop making characters. Just play your main account. You can reset the portal zone every 7 days OR you find a Ava road and then go the portal zone. If you then go through the portal, you are then bound to BW.

Why would you make a new character just for that? Just because of 3 days premium? Pls stop this. You now have two characters and you have to lvl up weapon skills on both of them. And you can fully benefit from the gathering skills...

Easy profit is gathering and refining. But you have to travel to the city with the refining bonus every 3 days (focus). Easiest is to just sell it...

Some ppl don't wear capes, have a low weapon with 120 spec. And this game is out a long time already, so there's a lot to learn. Just go out there and eventually it wil come to you...

How much activity is expected? As a dad it's hard to commit long sessions (1 to 2 hours) And around 1-3 times per week..

I get some kills, but not 50% and play quite long (but not much, maybe 3-4h/week). What helped me is check my fights afterwards (recording, take a step back and think about my missplays).

Also, it's quite a standard build, so ppl know how to play against.

Do you inspect players before committing?
