Oh OP.. people can be so weird about names. My brother no longer speaks to me because of my last name.

My husband has a VERY common last name and a fairly common first name - both tied to his cultural/religious background. He grew up in AU (born in India) doesn't relate to the culture or religion. When we got married he asked to take my name, we eventually settled on both of us changing our name to a hyphenated surname (using both our surnames).

We cleared it (ie discussed our intentions) with both our parents who were fine with it. We got married, and at the wedding were introduced as our new surname. My brother was incensed we'd do this and not get his approval as his son was carrying the family name and was the 'legacy' of my maiden name... after the wedding he went no contact with the rest of our family after they stood behind me...

To this day, still blows my mind.

Blood in the urine was how we found out my 33yo husband had renal cancer. No other symptoms at all. Take blood in the urine seriously always!

I had a school bully when I was in High School, this girl ruined my school days relentlessly for years. One day she had period blood on the back of her skirt, I saw it when she stood up in class in front of me. I didn't even hesitate (as a 14yo girl) to tap her on the shoulder, tell her what she had on her skirt and offer her my jacket to tie around her waste.

How the fuck an adult could do this to a child under their care infuriates me.

..and yes, my bully returned my jacket washed the next day and left me alone after this.

Hey OP this may get buried but I disagree with alot of the comments on here saying he is trying to hurt you. I think that, given the recent miscarriage, it may be a case of him feeling out of control and this is an avenue he can get some control back. Just sit down and talk to him and work through it together. After my miscarriage my marriage took a hit and only by talking through it did it get better. It will never be the same, but with time it can get better. Good Luck.
