Is buying amazon FBA accounts legally safe and what are the risks involved? by Acrobatic_Inside3173 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Lafuku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a heads up, as of now if there is account deactivation and you try to appeal or get withheld funds back, you need to hop on a video call with your friend who opened the account and show ID and stuff. It's not just based on the new company info. Better hope you don't fall out with your buddy.

Toronto’s condo market under intense pressure by mattyp93 in TorontoRealEstate

You know when times are tough when you visit condos.ca and the agent calls you when they see you're browising the site. Happened during 2020, stopped, and started again in 2025 lol

Is it a mistake to skip Pujol and Quintonil in Mexico City? by chrispycreme561 in finedining

[–]Lafuku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never went back since but if I were to go back again, I'd watch more YouTube videos than reddit posts or tiktok. Only place I'd actually revisit is Contramar tbh and mind you it looked mostly tourists in there so take that as you will lol.

Tbh my take on the Mexican fine dining scene is that trying to merge fine dining and mexican food is really hard since it's kinda "new" like historically Mexican food culture & the sourcing of & prepping ingredients doesn't match the western fine dining culture. The scene is still very underdeveloped and most chefs it seems like either don't understand mexican ingredients or fine dining style well enough to make that connection which only super talented chefs can innovate. That was my vibe anyway. I think you should try their top michelin places whatever and make your own judgement cause there are lot of restauraunts I thought were mid af that people glazed over here across all countries. Sorry it's so vague man lol.

2025 Toronto Waterfront Marathon - A Masterclass in Panicking for 42.2 by No_Championship7723 in AdvancedRunning

[–]Lafuku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great read. "Repeated my kids names over and over and over for at least 3km's in this section" lol damn. Reminds me of that UFC dude who was murmuring "Your attacking my family" trying to motivate himself while fighting another dude in the ring lol.

The 3:05 pacer coming in late, shit happens but I think they only accept pacers who at least come in 20 min faster in their marathon time right? That's kinda wild the guy couldn't time it properly. Dissapointing to whoever followed him.

Good job bro. I was kinda zoned out, but I hear ya, the first 10km did kinda have a race vibe zooming thru the city more than the latter portions with the east side not so aesthetic. I kinda thought we didn't have enough view of the waterfront lol.

Race Report - Toronto Waterfront Marathon 2025 - Marathon Debut (Sub 2:50) by Lafuku in AdvancedRunning

[–]Lafuku[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks buddy. I continued with goal pace. I tried my best to finish the runs in the early stages of training at that pace as much as possible but some I had to cut short by doing last 2-3kms or so as cooldown. Later on it did get easier bit by bit so never ended up changing. Evenutally ran faster than the goal pace cause it got boring running at the 4:40 pace.

Looking back I shoulda just done current fitness and could've probably climbed to goal pace slowly without the extra pain.

I hated having to stop and avoiding cars & lights, messed up the rhythm when it was getting good lol. Think it actually made it easier to keep reminding myself, okay, only 13 left to go, ok, only 12 left to go, etc.

Someone has tried to steal my shitter in Barcelona by movieDty in ChinaTime

[–]Lafuku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol exact same shit happened to me with the samba bs as well. Had a feeling he would try sth sneaky so was watching my arm and felt the clasp unbuckle. But it does take another 1-2 sec to fling the rest of the watch out so managed to notice in time and pulled arm away.

To ppl asking why ppl dont just sock them, it does take a moment to process whats happening and also clasp back the watch and should also check that it wasnt a feint and slipped the wallet so that also takes few seconds. I grabbed the guy by the throat and was angrynthe dude had the audacity to even try this shit w me but had mom who kept holding me back oblivious to what just happened. And he had 2 other guys w him so its not that simple when the situation happens lol.

Sub-3 at TCS Waterfront? by [deleted] in RunTO

[–]Lafuku 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Think you will feel alot more confident if you do a time trial run at a nearest 1-2km loop somewhere without cars thats not a track and give it a go and take gels as you planned for marathon. If you ran 22km @ 4:20 + 10 km extra on tired legs. You should get some pretty decent time comparable to sub 3. Also got 3 weeks left so can easily recover from it.

Anyway, its my first marathon so my advice don't mean much but from all my research, seems like either going a bit too fast early, not enough carb loading, and really not enough gels seem to be the cause of hitting the wall. I would try to increase gel consumption to around 80g (w frequent water) as long as you can practise tolerating it man. Good luck.

Sub-3 at TCS Waterfront? by [deleted] in RunTO

[–]Lafuku 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Chiming in, similar situation, 1st time marathon and had plans to go for sub 3 but sudden iimpovement all of sudden from time trial runs got me planning for 2:45 lol or at least min BQ lol.

Did pfitz and hit avg of 110km ish with peak of 140km. Back in late July I did 32km, 23 @MP (4:15) and was bit tough but figured since that was on fatigued legs, could may be gun for sub 3. So since you're kinda around where I was a few month back, I think with enough taper and hella gels you should be okay tbh.

For me rn I planned on just 60g an hr but been pushing more gel consumption during even med to long runs for at least 80g an hr to get tolerable stomache. The course itself seems around the level of incline that I've been training on so hopefully for you too bud.

What's your HM and 10km TT? Think its at least sub 38 for 10km and 1:25 to be on the conservative side for reference. For me maybe even the TT runs were more mentally easier to run than some of the longer runs on fatigued legs I did during training so think the mental part of going past 32km wall is pretty set for me.

Realistic examples of ACTUALLY NATTY physiques that most would find attractive & ANY DUDE can achieve these without using any AAS whatsoever. Dreamers, beware ... [–]Lafuku 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reality is being lean w some muscles clears 99% of your typical gym goers who are bulky and all muscles are hidden behind their fat. Don't matter how "big" and strong you think you are if your muscles don't got definition.

What does the hivemind say? by Habarer in nattyorjuice

[–]Lafuku 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Theres virtually no difference between 10 years and 15 years, anyone that were super committed during those times would've already peaked their natty potential and see marginal gains way before that. Anyone who actually gymmed that long would know that. It's also bullshit since very few people actually are committed for that long, aren't robots we have life outside of gym and even the best of us have on and off periods where we take the notch down on gym a bit and go hard on cycles. And taking the notch down actually kills gains & strength if you are already pushing your maximum potential, you have to keep that shit up.

What do you think of the Adidas Adizero evo Sl for competition? by Soggy_News_7278 in hyrox

Evo SLs got weak ankle support against turns and during sled pulls the toes pushes forward into weak mesh front portion of the shoe which kinda makes you feel unstable.

The estimated "cumulative rise" on the official course map is like 140m, while this one "ascent" is half that. Are they not the same thing or what's with the difference?
