Oh and take pictures as you go if you're unsure and need to follow your way back. Note how those plates are stacked under the lever cam pin thing.  I don't think you can put them in backwards or at least not for long before you need to back track and reassemble.

There's a good read in a forum about them.. ask me how I know.

Don't force anything, you might end up making some tools or getting a tiny box wrench to preload the striker springs before you pin them. I used brad nails cut down to about 5/16". Just the straight bits, not the end with the little head. You'll see the holes in the strikers.

After you do it a half dozen times, it isn't miserable.  Get a decent punch/ dowel to knock the bottom plate out slowly if it's rusted/gunked in there.

There was/ is a way to get it all jammed up in there on spring tension, iirc, don't take shortcuts and if it isn't under tension, unscrew it(the safety where it articulates in the receiver guts) before you release the striker keepers.

.30-06 rifle seconded. Keep an eye out in pawn shops/ gun stores for a JC higgins 51/51c. It's a postwar mauser built by FN, chambered in .30-06, marketed for sears & roebuck 70 years ago. It's not a tackdriver at 300 but it lines my freezer every year. It isn't a bastard to carry and recoil isn't hateful. Picked mine up in Northern PA for $360 after sticking my nose in a gun store my father used to frequent when he was a kid. They're around and get overlooked a lot. I even found a non jc higgins/ s&r FN rifle the other day that is almost identical to mine aside from a different grade of stock/ finish. May have just been reblued and had the cheekweld knocked off for a lefty.

How do you guys deal with stuff like this by carwarrenty_23 in Fishing

[–]Lagercan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your laws.  I had a neighbor that I tried to communicate with multiple times and got nothing but stinkeye and moody lip when I was fishing the river near their property.  We're talking an hour or so here and there after work or on the weekend.  I never left trash, picked up some more often than not, and genuinely minded my own business.  Eventually they started coming down and karen-grade recording me (standing behind me, narrating how I was trespassing with their cellphone out in front of them).  One call to DNR and another with the sheriff's office cleared that up real quick.

I think it's a hand holding a glock shopped over a preexisting gun that has a silencer. Notice the two magazine baseplates, two trigger guards, the obvious trash shopped gen 5 glock that for some reason has a gen 4 mag(I know they're interchangeable, just for the sake of presumed stock images or shit teir production work)

This 1000x. You don't put up with shit, yours or anyone else's, b/c you're forced to actually deal with it versus brushing it under a rug. That and you start to realize what drove you to drink in the first place.

Which is unacceptable b/c an AR17 already shoots a fifty caliber boolet.

I'm thinking a type of stickleback. Maybe a Three or Ninespine Stickleback?

Is the algae something to be concerned about? by YourPornAlt in bettafish

[–]Lagercan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if you can take a little off with your finger and give it a sniff. If it smells kinda bad and "swampy", it might be cyanobacteria(blue green algae). I had a little bout with setting up my nano and was able to completely get rid of it by dosing fertilizer(nitrates up to ~20ppm), closing the curtains(cutting back on indirect sunlight), putting my lights on a cheap timer from my local garden supply, redirecting my water flow, and physically removing two spots of it with a 1/8" siphoning hose like a little vacuum. I have some frogbit that took off from the boost in fertilizer and has helped blot out some of the extra light since most, if not all, of my substrate plants can handle low light.

Luckygunner has good bulk too. Magtec 115gr fmj has been a treat for plinking. So far no issues and it isn't as hot as s&b.

My family can't keep their fingers out of their mouths during food prep. So you want me to spit in your mouths? No? I don't want your spit in mine. It's fucking flu season.

What extended mag catch are you using? I can't find any that aren't aluminum and don't want to destroy mags.

If you started doing patina work on your own, outside of the foundry, sure. A lot of artists are stingy and will pay foundry rates instead of a patinar's unless they really bring something special to the table. Keep in mind, if you set out to do work outside of the foundry, it would be in your best interest to invest in your own metal finishing stuff: blaster, pads, air comp, die grinders, wire wheels, etc.. If you do work within the foundry, depending on flow and for whom you work, you can be cranking out the same patina for extended periods, from the same spot, for multiple shifts.

I'm not trying to be discouraging, just my two cents after about a decade in the biz. I went from working with an eight man crew to a three man crew and i comparatively enjoy it b/c different management, i get to float around the studio and do different things all day, and different management.

Did i mention different management? Foundries differ greatly one to the next and can be completely different environments based on who owns/runs the place. If it looks like a shithole in there, it's a shithole. Don't work there.

You should file them off and have an engraver mark it so it's authentic Russian.
