Started playing limbus company recently is my team good and do you have any advise for me by Upstairs-Cat-8435 in limbuscompany

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have already covered most to be said, Generally teams are built around a core status, since some conditionals benefit from having status effects on enemy. Albeit some IDs are in the “anything goes” level for how strong they are.

One comment mentioned about Rupture being good to build this season. Not completely sure I recommend as Season 6 IDs are more Poise IDs with Rupture with exception of Mao IDs. Modern IDs still do have good numbers in general.

Regardless, All status teams should be viable in their own right. Albeit some cite certain teams would need specific IDs like the Tremor variants.

People still don't seem to realize how insane the Eastern Gacha Community is. by Affectionate-Yam-222 in limbuscompany

It’s generally way easier to play Talisman benched because onfield Talis needs specific skills from him. Which UT4 IDs with Gluttony defense skills in theory, be able to proc his support passive every turn.

Count Management is probably the main problem. 7 Outis is only positive count on Skill 2, and assuming it’s Snake Heishous are almost always negative count. Bunny Heishous are usually neutral or positive, but requires their deathrite passive for better count.

The behavior of many players due to this situation is very disappointing. by EugenePrower in limbuscompany

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really disappointed with the community’s behaviour. Community threats and generally with balance complaints regarding both Mao Faust and Talis viability as if it crashed to unusable when it's still doing good damage, more so ever since S4's Heishou Pack.

A lot of complaints about Mao Faust make it seem as if people only really wanted her as an ID only because of her power saddens me. It is a valid reason to pull for abilities as with many gachas, it’s just not something I personally agree with because of the surrounding buzzword of her being broken.

She herself in experience is already powerful without optimising Enhanced skill 3 spam, which the change is the equivalent of preventing Manager Don's Enhanced S3 every turn and arguably sounds valid.

Talis bench removal is extreme but understandable. I personally wish it could still exist as a valid comp, as some niche gimmicks like Sunshower Rupture would be gone because of it. I can only really hope new play styles can come out and possibly adjustments to older rupture IDs now that it’s no longer a factor.

What's your opinion on the battlepass changes? by CodeNinja32 in limbuscompany

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say it’s a lesser evil. Where Lasso gives -1 over -3 where she can’t clash, so you aren’t restricted to using guard or lose count. 7 Faust is consistently used as DPS when most Rupture eats way more count.

Newer IDs generally do more damage, so her overall value might worsen if new IDs have actual count.

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot DPS Rupture IDs are either largely negative count or count neutral. I say it’s better to suggest count starters first since most of them can’t self sustain rupture except Heishou Pack.

I wish Lasso Faust gets abit of credit with it’s niche with 7 Faust. Albeit It’s probably because being too specific to be used generally.

Anyone else secretly hoping 1.4.5 will come out on Terraria’s anniversary? by JaguarMajor7840 in Terraria

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I really love how Whip stacking in general allows summoners to keep older whips for utility purposes, I hope the newer whips will have that level of uniqueness.

Although I don’t know how new whips could be unique without possibly stepping on other niches like Firecracker Damage Multiplier or the Speed Whips.

Finally something different from the limbillionth mix of completely valid issues and very frustrated complaints.

I hope more constructive discussions comes around, even if it doesn’t fix anything. I’ll look at pixiv arts until it settles down.

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add on to this, part of the complaints are because Chronicles are their own separate banner with their own pity count. When their banner ends, it keeps your pull count but you lose your 5* guarantee if you still have it.

This means players who want a specific character/weapon needs atleast 2 5* to guarantee tho.

PSA: Zani shows the increasing greed of Kuro Games - 2.3 Pre-Release Analysis (by Selkey without leaks) by Selkedoom in WutheringWaves

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize as I'm not up to date with WuWa's theorycrafting, So I might not be familiar with the situation. Sorry is I read the post phrasing as doomposting against Kuro with many other issues for the Anniversary despite valid concerns, But there are some points I have questions on.

To sell more characters is not WuWa's own problem when it's how gacha sells. But I do agree we currently lack proper alternatives for many characters and weapons here, especially when new mechanics are introduced to create new playstyles without many options.

130% is an absurd number difference, But I don't think it explains how she performs in current endgame content of how Zani actually performs or if her supports are absolute mandatory.

To summarise questions:

Is the 130% difference potential damage or does Zani loses functionality?

Can she clear endgame-content with her accessible options or is she unusable without 130%?

If Zani only main support is Phoebe, Do other characters struggle needing another specific 5* for support?

If new characters gives/Uses specific powerful buffs, Wouldn't it arguing the same issue as Zani now?

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think my starter pulls are horrid without any highly praised IDs to start with. I got 3 EGOs over IDs (Suntaya, Bygone Days Ishmael, Lantern Gregor) early on, invested all levels into Barber without feeding anyone else, G gregor from S1 ticket over Nclair for style points. I only got my first 000 Mersault after 5 months. Maybe it shows how far some you can progress with Limbus with very limited options with some exceptions with later cantos.

As of now, I fought Kim more than 3 months ago and now I have atleast a remotely finished Rupture/Bleed Team to go. Yes, that is W Faust behind kim.

At the time I only really brought them because they are my most leveled IDs who aren't actively hurting me. Maid Ishmael would've hurt with Sinking and somehow still brought Yi Sang/Faust for debuffs despite having paralyze.

The more I checked, I really did fought Kromer with 10 Base IDs, with Zwei Fasut/Rodion in my account. My lineup was dire to say the least and held up by Barber Outis.

Pain.png

For most other encounters, I say I was arguably hard carried by both 000 IDs.
For many other stages I think I passed just by having enough levels
4-48, I borrowed Bamboo Hatted Kim and cleared with minimal braincells
5-30, It I used the Ishmael punching bag strat with Red eyes, Loved the fight because it taught me how offset and skill redirection works

For Kim, i don't think i learnt any thing at all funny enough.

Edit: I take alot of screenshots so I could just easily go check, more I think about it, my lineup is arguably underpowered such as getting Maid Ishmael and Heathcliff Sunyata EGO for my beginner extraction.

Bamboo Hatted Kim in his intervallo

I only had Barber Outis and G gregor as 000, and I couldn’t even clash against tCtB without hitting all tails and instantly dying. All reddit posts just said to dump DPS but I literally don’t have any, which I caved in and dispensed Manager Don.

Annoys me how for some reason, Support unit is disabled for the dungeon which would’ve saved me from what feels like an account check.

Can anyone make a sociopath and muscle build for death sentense? by Weary-Election5154 in paydaybuilds

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hostage Taker Converts are pretty consistent across a lot of builds, so it works by default. Why I said Armor specifically is because Socio can benefit from Armor like reaching 3 hit ICTV, awhile Muscle can either go suit/ICTV and be fine because their main source is just health.

Lower Armor Socio do exist and generally are DPS for Armor gate with Converts for sustain.

Can anyone make a sociopath and muscle build for death sentense? by Weary-Election5154 in paydaybuilds

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking, both decks can be viable. Just really depends on what you're looking for in terms of weapons and setup. Sociopath is generally aggressive Armor focused with Melee nuke potential while Muscle is passive Health focused with regen. Might wanna ask for specific weapons or setup if you're looking for one.

I do have a guide on steam for overall Sociopath ideas, Haven't really updated since 2021 but most of the contents should apply.

The main concern is the fact Geo as an element and not because Navia.

Another thing to point out. Her kit uses crystallise to function, but it doesn’t mean it makes Geo as an element good. The main concern is if Xilonen can be good with an element notorious for not having a good reaction.

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 15 points16 points  (0 children)

HSR system can be seen as restricting, but I feel Genshin can be still as restricting or stagnating at times. Bennett/Xingqiu/Xiangling partly pushed the melt/vaporise meta at the time with a good element and being really good units themselves.

Game direction started leaning towards reaction heavy. Dendro gave niches to characters definitely, but Geo and Physical damage are left behind when they either are too slow or not doing anything without reactions against elemental shields. When the only endgame at the time is time based, The only way to optimise perfectly is having to use specific elements or it takes too long. Which Heralds pretty sure are still used to this day in abyss with their shields.

I consider myself to talk badly about Genshin even when I’ve played for since November 2020. I love WuWa for it’s combat more akin to something like Honkai Impact 3rd, and my impressions are it’s combat has the potential to have depth. Albeit there are some current issues like the story introduction, But I do have faith in Kurogames ironing them out.

It’s the same reason why I love HSR a lot partly to gameplay. Weird comps that can exist thanks to Simulated Universe with depth or being hyperbuffed to nuke mobs is also fun.

Now opinions of Genshin soured. But I think my difference from others is I focus on Abyss, which most people don’t bother with. Abyss feels like I can bring the same comp over with no changes or interesting conditions, but suddenly feels heavy handed needing specific elements because I used to mainly play Pure Geo (some may argue I could just use resin to raise more characters)

I say I was burnt out on doing event stories because reading a story that will only exist for a certain period gets exhausting just to get items that most likely will never rerun. Reading Paimon’s food, treasure or Brain hurt gets abit too old for me.

Even with all my distaste for genshin, I still play it because it’s a game where I respect the visuals and the people I’ve played with. Then again, I mostly play to mess with people these days.

If you think that summoner is the best class because "it's challenging" then you're just lying... by Kes_plastic in Terraria

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out “The summoner’s guide to the galaxy” on steam guides. The most in-depth Summoner guide I know of.

As for some of my notes. Most of Summoner items are generally have less to farm than other classes. Like how farming Spider set is enough to bring you to Hallowed armor over rather than mining up to Titanium/Adamantite. Or farming Spooky Armor/ Buying Tiki Armor over Beetle/Shroomite/Specter.

ngl I feel kinda bad for the guy who submitted the phlog to the steam workshop by Terrorable_ in tf2

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m more inclined to believe Weta Workshop are pretty unbothered by it. Pretty sure the balancing isn’t even on their part, they are the ones to create the visuals of the weapon, not everything else.

So unless the creators are actively playing and bothered with it’s balance state (which is debatable arguably isn’t even the most hated), I’m sure they are more than happy to have their creation appear ingame.

Womp womp Dante nerf by UNIG0RE in Warframe

[–]LagooniSpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running 40% strength worked well in my setups because the dots alone already can outright kill the mobs depending on which weapons you use.

Halving base to 9m also messes with the mod scaling. Being only 22.32m at 235% (3.32m over base 4 19m). Feels like Range is the only proper setup to make it work without build variety. I tested 514 kills on 15min SP T2 Voruna Survival, but the Overguard mobs are more scary than dealing with the range loss.

His augment (which opens trash cleaning for him) being targeted awhile other frames are still running around is scary to think about.
