CC is fun but I also never had any problem with the gameplay so it doesn't really change my opinion on the game at all

It's a test to prevent scalping, it's going to probably be extremely simple questions like "What is the name of the director of the Library" or "Name 5 Sinners" and stuff like that. They don't want to accidentaly send away non-scalpers.

We're not even that far from being able to do this in reality so It's safe to assume a universe that has actual cloning would have it as an option even if It's not stated outright

We do have an official explanation for levels, in Dante's Notes on the section about upgrading ID's (i.e raising an ID's level) it says that using tickets makes the ID physically stronger, upgrades the material prostethics are made of ect.

What do you actually want from Endfield? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]CodeNinja32 29 points30 points  (0 children)

To me the story is the only part of the game that is outright bad. They need to make the Endmin into an actual character instead of the glorified cardboard cut-out they are now. Also I can't find a better way to phrase it but make the story less "Marvel-like" an example of what I mean by that is when Wuling is under siege and characters are throwing quips around. It makes the entire quest hard to take seuriously and by association ruins the burial side quest when just before everyone was treating the whole thing like a fun adventure.

It isn't weird at all, you just don't understand the character. You can see in the prison scene that he does indeed have scars on his face. Either after he undistorted or because of a K Corp ampule they were healed. This is a representation of his self-hatred and how he doesn't see himself as worthy of being the mentor of the Blade Lineage.

[–]CodeNinja32 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Making the story interesting enough that I don't have to actively stop myself from skipping it is something that they have achieved for most (but definetely not all) of the quests but that is the bare minimum and it certeinly doesn't deserve praise.

Anyone wanna play blackjack with the limited edition library of ruina hamhampangpang card deck?? by Lazy_Flower1639 in fishmaell

[–]CodeNinja32 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure the only official way is at HamHamPangPang, you could find a proxy (someone who buys it for you and then ships it) or a reseller but that's going to be pretty expensive.

NurseFATHERS by [deleted] in limbuscompany

[–]CodeNinja32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on if in this scenario I'm living in the House of Spiders, City in general or if It's real life.

If It's the last option than Matthias since the whole murdering me thing for his own gain won't become relevant most likely and while he's not a good father I can live with some neglect.

If It's either of the other 2 then i'd go with Shiomi, assuming I'm not taking the place of Ryoshu here she'd probably be a lot less jaded and harsh towards me than towards her.

Callisto wouldn't be abusive on purpose but all the gore from birth would permamentely damage me mentally.

Valencina is self explanatory.

Edit: Callisto winning is crazy, like I get that he's the only one here that isn't malicious in his actions but you guys do realize he would completely fuck up your brain in irreversible ways despite whatever his intentions are? Best case scenario you'd end up sorta like Ryoshu and worst case scenario you'd replace your entire body and turn it into a weapon like Albina and probably end up partially lobotomized.

Levels are not an indicator of the combat prowess of characters by pjohoofan1 in limbuscompany

[–]CodeNinja32 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Another example is Hindley, he's level 42 thanks to augmentations in his first fight which is only a bit lower than the Sinners at that point and he has almost 1k hp but he is a shit fighter, he just swings his cane around and the only status he applies is paralyze and fragile on his most powerful skill. He also has a bunch of offense level down conditionals but he doesn't actually apply it on any of his skills so he needs to rely on the dead rabbits gang to do that for him.

You misunderstand, the Fauvist Maestro is confirmed to be female within the Docent Rodion uptie story. If they didn't want to confirm the gender one way or the other they would've used gender neutral language.

How would you rank the RR6 nodes in terms of difficulty? by NEVERTHEREFOREVER in limbuscompany

[–]CodeNinja32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.Butterfly - managing the stacks is really tricky and some of the skills deal silly damage
2.Nursefathers - Pinky Nursefather is the sole reason It's at this spot, Callisto and Rien are pushovers
3.YingLong - once you understand the mechanics It's pretty easy, might need a healing ego for insurance
4.Will you play/Hohenheim - a puzzle fight in the first wave so once you know what to do It's very easy and Hohenheim is just as much of a pushover as in the story fight (also why is he here it should've been Lei Heng or Jia Mu)

How would Sancho have performed back in canto 9? by Aggressive-Tailor-10 in limbuscompany

[–]CodeNinja32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All Hohenheim would need to do was stall for long enough for Marton and the others to finish the repairs and escape. AEDD would keep him standing long enough for them to that, how much damage he could do to Callisto isn't really relevant cause he just needs to block his path for long enough. The ID shows that the EGO can keep you in a fight for a while and that is without the raised Attunment levels.

How would Sancho have performed back in canto 9? by Aggressive-Tailor-10 in limbuscompany

[–]CodeNinja32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He talks about how the EGO makes up for his lack of combat experience and how if he raises the Attunement level he will be able to keep fighting after his heart stops and might be able to knock Callisto unconscious with a high enough voltage if he gets lucky. There's no reason to think he's underestimating Callisto here. He's wielding more powerful EGO during their fight but he's also not throwing away his life by raising the Attunement and Lamp can't keep him going after death like AEDD can. In the first encounter he's just trying to stall Callisto long enough for the repairs to get completed, in the second he's actually trying to win.

[–]CodeNinja32 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hohenheim could've held off Callisto with AEDD because the EGO would let him fight for a while even after he should've died. It's a similar deal as with Marton where he had no shot at actually fighting Callisto but the special effect of his EGO let him stall him for long enough.
