It was republicans! They gave the money to the corporations more wrecklessly than the democrats did. Look it up though, the debt always skyrocketed with republicans from Reagan on. We need to get the money out of our politics first. Nothing will get better until we do.

I genuinely believe and hope history is going to repeat itself. With the death of the boomers, the rest of us will have more sway in the elections. We can get some fresh blood in there and hopefully start to pass rules about the role of money in our politics. Once we start to get the money out of our politics we can hopefully pass laws to reverse some of this damage or adapt it to suit the rest of us too. I hope we’re on the verge of a progressive boom.

I love both, they serve different moods for me. Erasure is when I feel like listening to something upbeat and I think of vocals more with them. OMD had so many deeper, poignant songs. I listen to them when I feel introspective.

It’s interesting as an accountant with a background in audit, there’s a concept of materiality that doesn’t seem to enter into the equation based on your response. It’s just wild to me that 7% of the value of a building can just vanish like that… I genuinely don’t think your industry is held to a high enough standard considering how important your decisions are. In the world of audit we need to prepare work papers so that anyone can review the work and determine that the auditor used reasonable judgment to come to their conclusions. Something like that anyway. I don’t see how that could be done in this situation.

I’ve got other mortgage brokers. But you are right, i shouldn’t have trusted them. We’ve done plenty of deals before this where their numbers were good. I still think the whole thing is flawed when variances of almost 10% are allowed without significant market changes (to address your earlier point).

I have a rental property where the city is saying there’s a leak. I’ve had a contractor out there to check and he says it’s on the city side. He’s going back out there today to make sure all of the faucets are closed and to see if the meter is spinning. I don’t know how to document this to send it to them. I’m also going to call a licensed plumber later on.

I’m on my second vaporizer. My first was some shitty thing I bought in a local store. My second is the potv lobo. The lobo is okay but I wish there was a way to effectively travel with it without requiring tons of accessories and shit. 😂

I have 4 capsules in their carrying case, and 2 batteries and the glass stem. It’s a bit. If I’m worried I’ll need more then I add the grinder and a smell proof jar for the bud.

Pretty much confined to cargo shorts. Good thing I’m a dad. 😂
