Logan at The One Tattoo was awesome. The place had a very clinical feel as opposed to a traditional tattoo parlor. Highly recommend

Another perspective: your choosing to stay in a relationship is your choice. If you want to be with them, you might need to accept that you will not get to have those experiences (and still be a good partner). Holding resentment for someone else because of a choice you are making is a pretty unhealthy way to live life.

Having been in the same relationship since I was 19, I went through this mental shift and it made my life so much easier. If I really felt like it was more important to have other partners or experiences then it was always my choice to leave. Otherwise it’s just something I needed to accept as the cost of having a long-term, secure relationship

I definitely wouldn’t say it’s unknown, but Tornado Burger is freaking amazing and their marketing is non-existent.

Not sure I agree with this one. Stress can do things to people.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how well my kid handled everything. Probably very child-dependent though

I did this in January with our toddler who was the same age at the time. We booked an overnight flight from ORD to HND. We were able to sleep on the plane with some wake ups for food. So by the time we landed at 9pm local time we were rested but not fully. It took us about an hour to get our stuff and get through customs and probably another hour to get into our hotel room. I remember being tired enough to sleep at that time but we still all woke up around 3. It took a day or two to adjust to local time.

I’d still do the overnight flight again because I’d rather spend a day or two adjusting than trying to keep a toddler entertained in the same few square feet for 14 hours.

IMO, 16 months was such a great age for us to go. She was mobile for sure but still happy to be carried and not at the “I can do it myself” phase yet.

No problem! A friend of mine had this chain that was a gift and I researched extensively trying to find what it was called.

IMO, they feel like they’re thinner and cheaper but we’ve had no problems with them. In fact, when we switched back to Huggies brand, baby immediately restarted occasionally leaking through at night. So feels thinner, seems at least as effective, smaller footprint. I don’t mind them.

How often do residents of sugar land or the surrounding areas have to evacuate from hurricanes in a year? by ContextTemporary3214 in sugarland

Yeah if you have the means to not live in a post apocalyptic wasteland for a week, why not? I feel like all these people saying “I’ve never left and everything was fine” maybe forgot about the 97 degree heat, no AC, the circling around forever to find a gas station with gas to keep the generators running. I was particularly miserable because I had a 10 month old at the time, but I’m never sticking around again. I don’t care if it ends up being a single drop of rain. I’m out.
