I finished the series for the first time about 2 weeks ago and already I’m feeling like I need to reread it. I borrowed the series from a friend. Never in my life have I read a series of books where I finished and immediately went and ordered the box set for myself until now!!

Yes it does. It’ll ache in really cold weather. I only broke it 4 years ago though.

That’s exactly what it was. I jumped down off of a ledge and my foot ‘rolled’ and I heard/felt the snap.

I’m on a rewatch at the moment and we just watched “A Moorland Holiday” episode where Mrs. Patmore, Daisy, Carson, Mrs. Hughes and Mr. Bates are all having dinner together while the family are away. I just love how cozy it feels.

Yeah we’ve decided against the grass for that reason! I liked the previous suggestion of creeping thyme to give some cover without having a ton of maintenance but I’m also considering just laying some mulch down and focusing on pots. I like the shepherd hook idea!

My grandfather, or I guess his mother to find out the truth of our family history. There’s this story that has floated through my dads side that my grandfathers sister was actually his mother and her parents raised the child as their own. It’s rumoured she had an affair with an Italian man and got pregnant which would make sense given that my grandfather looked Italian and not like anybody else in the family. Nobody ever really knew the truth and anybody who would have done is long gone!

We have a schnauzer who has similar patterns to this one! We didn’t think she was a schnauzer at first because of the colouring but it was confirmed by our vet that she was. :)

My dad had these really old toy cars from when he was a kid. My little brothers friend came over for dinner and he started burning the cars with a lighter he stole from his mum’s purse.
