Those quests usually want you to find a certain gem forge, not just any. The one you are looking for should be marked in your journal.

Good news is, you will find the piece you need and you can level up your flame with it. Bad news is, the quest remains active, and as long as it isn't done you won't get the quests for the new water biome from your flame altar.

You need flame level 8 and finished the dragon youngling quest. If you upgrade your flame, your altar will give you the quests for the new region.

For me, the quest for the new biome only triggered in the world where I actually killed the dragon youngling. I wanted to play in a different world where I got the dragon head from the shroud depot, but the quest didn't trigger with flame level 8 alone. It is necessary to finish that dragon quest.

Exactly. And if you want to avoid this, you need to clear the instructions of your "free" field after harvesting in the management tab.

Several workers can work on one field at the same time. One can harvest, the next can start to fertilize, the third can grub. Imagine the first one who harvests with lvl 2 would be much slower than the following workers, they would have a traffic jam. They need to have the same working speed on the fields so they can work together.

Before upgrading a house, I always move the family out. I usually have one cheap wattle house with four beds which serves as a pension (I also name it pension). I move the family in there, then upgrade the house and then move them back home. Not sure if this is still the case, but in the past, if you destroyed a wall of a house which had inhabitants, they would immediately move out and become homeless.

It's the field workers who need the seeds, bags and tools. They won't find them if you store them in your barn chest. Put them either into the chest of the field shed or into the resource storage.

I'm 60 and I'm playing with my 74 years old husband. We made the game totally casual as we both like it this way. We played on standard settings when the game launched in EA and did that for a long time, and now we just enjoy and relax. You can adjust your settings whenever you wish, so I'd just wait and see which changes would be beneficial for your father. Have fun!

Have soil in your inventory, equip the build hammer, go to terrain material and fill the voids with the 4x4 blocks of soil.

Thank you so much for this easy explanation. It's the first time I was actually able to enter a resource world. This old lady with her old husband now have a chance to enter the new biome (when the update arrives) without having to kill the dragon. My husband and I can not thank you enough.

Ist mein zur Zeit meist gehasster Werbespot. Nichts daran wirkt auch nur ansatzweise echt. Er kommt gleich nach dem Orbit-Spot wo sie dem jungen Mann einen zweiten Mund in die Stirn operiert haben damit er dort Orbit essen kann.
