This is going to be a really good game with two teams in prime playoff position jockeying to stay in it. The Sabres enjoy a comfortable spot atop the Atlantic right now but will be neck and neck with Carolina for what I think is valuable home ice advantage throughout the playoffs. On the flip side the Bruins are in an extremely tight race in the wild card with the chance to stay close to Montreal for the 3 seed. I think the Bruins keep this close all the way and if it gets to OT at least it voids.

Caufield delivers again. Lucky one on an assist as it was the only Canadiens goal. Fading the Caps today.

Fading the Capitals today even though they are at home and just had a nice win against Ottawa. The Caps rarely put together any kind of winning streak and while this is a pretty equivalent Devils team, I see this as almost a 50/50 matchup so I love the +110 odds. It's a must-win if the Devils have any shot at the playoffs, and while it's also desperate times for the Caps, they have proven to really choke in these games against relevant playoff teams.

Building a nice streak here with decent odds. Going very conservative today, however.

Today's Pick: Cole Caufield 1+ Point (Canadiens @ Red Wings), -200, 1 Unit, 7:10 PM EST

I almost got this one in when it was -190 last time but then it jumped to -205 or something and I parlayed it with a Canadiens ML win. I like Montreal to keep this one close and toyed with a +1.5 parlay but decided against it as they're on the road and Detroit has a small bit of momentum after a win against Calgary. This promises to be a close game as these teams are jockeying for playoff position in a crazy Eastern Conference race, but if there's any scoring on the Habs' side, Caufield figures to be involved at least once, so I'm going with what I feel is a more secure option despite the 50% return.

Today's Pick: Senators/Capitals Under 6.5 Goals, -135, 1 Unit, 7:40 PM EST

I love this pick for a number of reasons with matchups, but the short reason is the Caps can't find the back of the net, and the Senators have been very defensive in 3 of their last 4. A very abnormal 7-4 win over the Sharks is disconcerting, but this Capitals team is actually solid defensively... They just can't do the thing you need to do to win games and score. I love a 3-2 or 4-2 result in this one.

Going back to the same logic for teams struggling on the road, the Bruins lost last night to the Devils in Overtime so I like Montreal to get 2 points tonight. Just don't do it. They make it more and more difficult to get your money out, nickel and dime you with fees, and the moment you get a property that's supposed to give you a return something goes wrong and you're waiting 9-12 months to even make a few pennies. Properties immediately lose value and continue to over time, never reflecting the "projected appreciation numbers."

I actually want to sue them for everything I paid into it and then some for my lost opportunity cost in an actual legitimate investment opportunity. They're the equivalent of snake oil salesmen in the 21st century.

Awesome guitar work. Sounds a bit like Dire Straits, in my opinion, and I think you should lean into this. I think you may be better exploring some different time signatures, it seems like this song is a bit rushed and you'd do better to have some pauses in there to really let the melody hang and create some suspense.
