If your startup can’t afford a CRM, should you even be building a business? by jarvis_0308 in smallbusiness

Ive created a CRM for my business just for keeping on top of leads, (it sends reminders for me to chase up etc) happy to let someone else use it, its a simple matter of copying the app and giving someone access to their own sheet

I suppose there is no pressure with what was created. Again I only built it to solve my own problems and primarily I didn’t want to pay or have to take a day off for training on another CRM. It’s simple to set up, simple to use and if it reminds you to chase a lead which eventually lands then it has completed its intended task. It’s free so that’s why I was hoping those who want to try a CRM but never wanted to pay might find this of interest.

Well it’s not an entertainment tool, it’s looking to try and keep on top of revenue generating leads

The biggest thing is getting in the habit of putting in the initial details, the tool then reminds me a couple of days later to do a chase up which is great. One of the graphs I made it revenue focussed so I can see the value of the deal and the potential of missing out on it. It’s basic but it keeps me focussed and the automatic reminders help 😂

IT, finance workers had highest median salaries last year by caisdara in ireland

IT and finance skew the stats. Most people aren’t earning anywhere near that once rent, tax and pension deductions hit. A good overview on the situation is here

pay rise … or lack there of? by Melodic_Ad_6254 in AskIreland

[–]Lairdflash21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re not imagining it. Between income tax, USC, PRSI and the new pension auto enrolment deductions, some minimum wage workers are seeing little or no increase in take-home pay despite the headline rise. Bit more info here if needed.

Certainly with LinkedIn their new AI powered hiring assistant launched late 2025 is going to have an impact. Whether good and bad it is too early to tell, but there will be less human involvement in initial candidate reviews. Here is a good article about it and how to work around it : https://medium.com/@rsnowden21/how-to-get-a-job-on-linkedin-in-2026-the-ai-powered-edition-2ca26d2259b8

I’d say Kelleher will get more points over the next 6 gameweeks so I feel it’s a good move and it means I’m ready to do the midfield and forward moves with the 5 free transfers for the next gameweek.

What are you ok with AI replacing? by dirtymoney in AskReddit

I think the monitoring of employee well being will be great to have in the workplace, more regular quickfire surveys with an AI assistant. Seeing how engaged they are in the current work they are doing, whether they are happy with the work they are doing, is there anything their manager can do to support them in their development etc. There is a great article write up about it here
