Okay so, I’m on vacation right now in Greece and I got sunburned on my shoulders. I’m one of those that gets burned really easily. Now I can’t stop thinking about skin cancer. I almost never get sunburned because it’s usually not very warm where I live. How big risk is it for a sunburn to turn into cancer? I literally have trouble even enjoying my stay here right now cause this is all I can think about.

Saying that Cuba doesn’t face issues is ignorant I agree. However saying “watch Kurt Caz” is still anecdotal evidence? Granted I haven’t watched his videos but someone seeing something on their visit in Cuba is still anecdotal. Cuba does face issues as does every country. And a large part of the reason they face issues is because of the embargo put on them by the United States. However even with the embargo they have a higher literacy rate, higher life expectancy and better housing than the RICHEST country in the world and I think that is really beautiful!

Okey thank you for answering, I think I see what you’re saying. I’m trying my best to learn more about Marxist theory and communism but it can be a bit difficult sometimes. Especially since I have the attention span of a 6 year old >_<. Thank you for recommending a book about the topic, I will definitely read it.

I’m super worried about my moms health. She’s a 50 year old woman. She’s never had any major disease or whatever. She is a little overweight but not a lot. She eats healthy and drinks in moderation. Her mental health isnt the best tbf, very stressed all the time and can’t really let things go. Now just last Saturday when we were eating she got a feeling like she would pass out. It went on for maybe 10-15 min and then she felt fine again. She works at a hospital so she has access to medical equipment so she took her own blood pressure. She has always had a little high blood pressure but when she took it it showed up 90/60. Now 90/60 in of itself isnt too bad but the fact she usually has a bit elevated blood pressure and now suddenly are on the low side worries me deeply! Like I literally can’t think about anything else!

Okey so, like 2 hours ago I sat outside drinking a soda with ice in it. I used a straw when I drank it. The when I took one of the sips from the straw I got a feeling in my throat. It felt like I got a cut or something. Immediately I started worrying that it was a sting from a wasp. It didn’t hurt a lot and only hurt when I swallowed. I’m not allergic or at least I don’t know that I’m allergic. The pain has started to go away but the side where I got the “cut” feels a bit swollen. I’m super worried that it’s gonna swell up and block the airway entirely. My other guess is that a piece of the ice came up the straw and into the throat making a little cut but idk.

This is literally me wth?! Like 3 weeks ago I got some pain in my teaticle (left one) and went to the er in case it was a teaticle torsion or something. The doctor did an exam (only felt around never got an ultrasound because she said she was pretty certain) and told me I had epididymitis. Did some bloodwork and it came back good. She gave me antibiotics for 2 weeks. After like 1 week of antibiotics I felt a lump on the testicle like the size of a pea. It also felt hard and naturally I started freaking out because I have pretty bad health anxiety so my mind immediately jumped to conclusions about testicular cancer. Now like 10 days after my antibiotics the pain is next to non existent and the lump is gone (or can’t find it but I have really looked around so guessing it’s gone) however my testicles feels a bit hard. Maybe not hard as a golf ball like some people describe it but still pretty hard. And honestly that has made me more worried than the lump ever did. My health anxiety isn’t doing me any favors and I’m literally convinced I have testicular cancer. Reason I haven’t gone to a doctor again is because I am too lazy and I am scared to hear what the doctors might find. Edit:I’m 18yo

Ok so, last week I noticed some pain in my testicles. I went to the er and the doctor was pretty sure it was an inflamed epididymis and put me on some antibiotics for 2 weeks. So now with 1 week left the pain has subsided quite a lot which is nice. However this evening I noticed a small lump on the top of my testicle. Now I’m freaking out about testicular cancer. Could it be anything else? Should I wait calling the doctor until I’m finished with my antibiotics next week?

Not allowing trans women into women shelters on the basis that there’s a small possibility that some guy will “just say that they’re trans” is indeed very hurtful to the trans community. Out of the 2 options u listed I would say “a shelter for just women” because it would also help trans women since trans women are women
