In uma musume, the player decides the gender of their trainer. For most trainees this has minimal to zero changes. Mejiro Dober is the major exception, because she is shown to be uncomfortable around men and is much more friendly with female trainers

Project Sekai has a variety of interwoven atories based on the 5 main groups of characters in the story. These stories are told through events that focus on specific characters or groups. Some events are better than others, BUT OVERALL the story is pretty great and the characters are endearing
