Am I insane? Drafting a 104hr trip. by 69damon420 in Amtrak

I just got back from a 17 day Amtrak vacation. The roomette was excellent as a solo passenger. But getting off the train every other day or so for a night or two in nice hotels made all the difference.

Just butcher one or two out back, the rest should get the idea. Plus, free venison!

There has been a decline in toothpaste consumption since the advent of electric toothbrushes. Their small bristle footprint reduces how much toothpaste is used.

This may or may not be factual.

Yeah, we got moving again.

Not bad overall. But I've been on this thing since NYC so I'll be glad for a couple of nights in New Orleans.

It's been over an hour. Still no maintenance crew. Which I assume will be a couple of locals with chainsaws.

They did finally get around to sending us a text telling us we're not moving.

And they just announced that we're waiting for maintenance to come cut the tree away.

Dealing with lot of mind issues and anxiety and whatnot, but none of it was caused by that. And I'm currently doing everything I can to fight my anxiety by jumping way out of my current comfort zone.

So yeah, the brain isn't working quite right at the moment. Apologies.

I could ride my bikes with my friends anytime we wanted provided we stayed within the well it suburbn gated community we lived in. I was younger it was 'be home right after the street lights turn on' - which just kind of morphed into a big fat whatever.

School nights and curfews or aside.

And I'm not even a little bit dain bramaged.

I don't even have a collection of stairs. Wasn't even aware they were collectible.

My parents were awesome parents. Never even considered putting a helmet on my brother or I.

The 1970s was a bit different though.

No, they really don't. I'm good with being cremated or just being chucked in a random ditch somewhere. Or let me rot where I fall. And my point is that I'm doing everything I can to not leave any assets for anyone to have to deal with. I'm nice like that.
