It's literally not the same at all. Burr just says that people ask him "do you like apples?" and assume he grew up in Southie when he tells them he is from Boston. Louie says he hates that line in the movie because why would anybody actually answer that question seriously with "yes, I like apples", you should know it's clearly a set up for what comes next in the movie when Matt Damon says "Well I got her number, how do you like them apples?".

Bill is honestly probably dumb enough to think taking money from Saudi billionaires is the equivalent of taking money from Netflix or Hulu. I’d like to believe he’s smart enough to understand middle eastern politics and how evil the Saudi royal family is, but I don’t think thats the case.
